Sometimes talk is cheap. He HOPES to acquire an elite level player. Just because he hope so doesn't mean he will be successful.

I doubt he would be able to make a good move. I think he will get average players in return or at best, Kevin Martin or Andre. But we'll see what happens.

 

If they are trying to get Bosh without trading T-mac than I don't see him being traded for an "elite" player.

A good player in Butler or Igoudala but they aren't elite.

 

Yes, but if we get Bosh without moving TMac, then can still move TMac for an upper tier player, then watch Yao come back, we could have something very special.

Brooks is the main guy I'd like to keep to pair with Bosh, Yao and a SG/SF picked up for TMac. Then we use Buddinger or whoever else to slot into the open slot on the team.

 

poor morey. he's maneuvered himself in a very bad situation. the expectations are ridiculously high and the whole t-mac saga hasn't helped him either...

if people seriously think that getting a guy like butler or igoudala wouldn't be enough then a lot of people will be disappointed once a trade finally happens. those are borderline all-star players and the rockets are only offering a contract for them.
