I'd be thinking . . .d*mn. Now our wing can light up TMAC for 30 points
When Snotty Pippen left. . .I had nothing for him.

It must be difficult thinking so negativly all the time.

Who knows what McGrady could bring to the table. The last time he was truly healthy in 07-08 he was good for 25/5/5 a night. People have such short memories. I'm hoping he makes people like you forget the days when it was popular to call mcgrady worthless.

I posted this one Twitter, but I believe this is a culture class.

Rick Adelman has had team success playing his style of basketball and now he has a team in Houston that is doing it, and they are winning.

Tracy has had personal and some team success playing his style, and he sees that this team has talent and he wants in.

Adelman does not want a malcontented ball hog to screw up what he has going, and the organization knows that Tmac is gone after this year and has chosen the direction of Coach A.

This is Oil and Water....Tmac and Rick don't work....

Sounds to me that it was all about the insurance money and it makes perfect sense. The team is doing fine without him so why rush him back if his contract will be 80% covered along with Yao's contract being covered Les saves A TON. TMAC will be playing within a week or so and then gets traded because its obivous TMAC/RA don't like each other thus making it easy for both sides to say bye bye.

What round of the playoffs did we get to that year?

I think it was the same round Francis took us too

I'm so over his crap. Give me my current rockets any day of the week.

Have a seat and keep your mouth shut (which seems to be a huge problem for you) until Daryl gets a deal done to ship you out of town.

Then don't let the door hit you on the way out.

    Me-Mac.

Well yes, it is getting interesting but for me this is pretty simple situation. If the team doesn't want to use him, trade him. EASY.

In my opinion, Tracy probably knows as much as we do as far as his return. 'He will have the MRI on the 23rd'.

And I have a strong feeling he is READY. He finished working out with the best man in the business. The surgery had been done by one of the best specialist in the country and he has been under that doctor's control. So this year it is not like 'I feel like I am back'. He has people all over him, he really took care of those thing this offseason so if they say he is ready, I strongly belive he IS ready.

And really, last season it was all about T-Mac (BS) and Dr Clanton who knows as much as nothing (for me) and he proved it.

I am sure now that we will know what exactly is going on, on Monday. That problem will be finally solved. Tracy's pretty patient now he is just waiting for what they are going to say after practice and MRI. His staff sounds confident that the MRI will show NOTHING and he will practice just fine or even better to prove that he is ready.

And if they still decide to keep him out, that will mean just just don't want him and the team is waiting for the next year.

    a) The team is just waiting for that day, because since that time we will be playing at home a lot, which means it will be easier to develop a chemistry between coach, team and Tracy. He will do just fine and they will let him play right after that.

    b) They will not clear him and say he still needs time etc. And I am sure Tracy will no longer be patient after something like that and he will FORCE them to trade him, even for few expiring contracts. All said, he will be GONE.

Maybe they already have a trade on the table but the other team just wants to make sure he is all right and they want a MRI and a practice to see him go full speed. That's likely.

But the problem WILL be solved after Monday.

T-Mac will be back and he will play outstanding. The guy was putting up 18 points a game last year in one leg when he was hurt. The guy dishes 5 -7 assist a game. Tmcac will adapt to the style the Rockets play now,
    just wait and see.

I agree that the team has no obligation to play Tmac. But Tmac shouldnt be criticized for wanting to play if he feels he is ready. Everyone claims he quit on the team and that he has no heart, yet now they criticize him for desperately wanting to play and feeling he is ready. If he wasnt ready to play people would bash him for not rehabbing hard.

Poor Von Wafer, he is ready to play and in a dispute with his coach over playing time.

Dang.....just let him play, he is a competitor and trying to get a new contract, right?

    ;)

At this point i dont think it matters about his contract. the guy has made millions of dollars, and im sure hes taking care of by now. I really think this is for pride and respect to his game. He knows he can play wants to show everybody that when hes healthy the guy can light it up

At the end of the day....von wafer is not even in the same league as mcgrady and he never will be. Wafer barking for playing time is a hell of a lot different than a two time scoring champ saying hes ready to go.

Ya know, after thinking about it.... NOPE!

But seriously, this is not going to bode well for his trade value. He will now be seen as a huge malcontent that just wants to get his. Which he is, IMO. But this is really going to hit any type of value he had before he hit the floor again.

    What an idiot.

Why should the rockets . . .make a trade . . . just to make TMAC Happy?
They *have* to get value back. Trading him just to get rid of him but taking on bad contracts. . . .well we tried that with Snotty and that did not work out so well.

IMO TMac has never adjusted to the team as much as he should
don't expect him to do so now

Ok here is what i find incredibly annoying. Im sure youre the type that will agree that basketball is a team sport and if we're winning and mcgrady is playing well, then we're winning as a team. However, the second you get the chance to rip on mcgradys lack of post season success suddenly its all about him and how he couldnt get the team out of the first round. You cant have it both ways.

A healthy Mcgrady makes us better. If you havent figured that out by now i have nothing more to say to you.

A Healthy TMac is like Polish on an apple
It LOOKS better .. but it is still the same apple.
Then again . . it maybe worse cause it has that waxy film on it now

    Ok. Thats your opinion.

I disagree. I think the more guys you have on your team that can put the ball in the hole, the better. Mcgrady can do that and he's probably the best guy on our roster when it comes to creating looks for team mates.
