if the Bulls are ao worried about depth at the 5, we can always give them back Miller

i have to admit, i know very little about Asik, and i don't believe in adding size just for the sake of size. If Asik is who we are after i am just going to have to trust Morey that the kid is worth it. He was right about Gortat. Maybe he'll be right about Asik.

Speaking of Gortat, is the AB for Gortat offer still on the table? cause that is looking might fine right about now.

You guys remember that Morey could have drafted Asik, but he chose Joey Dorsey instead.

He also could have gotten Deandre Jordan with that pick...

Eh.. .Jermain Oneal and Shaq are pretty much walking corpse's and Davis is undersized and wont intimidate any one in the paint, the only real paint intimidators for the Celtics are Perkins and Garnett .

Now with that said from a "Bulls Fan" perspective would you be more incline to trade Asik if in return you guys would receive Brad Miller in addition to Courtney Lee, giving you guys a big replacement?

I can only see Asik as a poor man's Kelvin Cato. Sorry. And uhhh doesn't this team rely on Centers who stay on the high post to pass? Even if we got Asik, it's not like we will be using him anyways.

I'm pretty sure Terrence would rather go to a contender like Boston AND be with his best bud Nate than play for the Rockets.

That'd make it more appealing; Lee would help shore up the need for a scoring gaurd, and Miller would provide good veteran low post help, but the fear would be losing both Miller & Kurt Thomas at the end of the year due to old age, and being stuck with no low post help for Noah once again.

You can gladly have Bogans for Lee though! :p

Also remember that Dorsey was the best rebounder in the NCAA with Memphis and the Rockets had Yao Ming at the time. Dorsey was a bust because of his attitude, work ethic, and injuries. Not because of talent. Asik and Jordan had a few inches on Dorsey and less playing history to judge them by. Most GM's would have taken Dorsey in a heartbeat.

Probably right. sadly enough. Either way, its another dumb tweet by Twill and another reason he is sitting the bench.

Maybe, but it I don't see Lee moving for draft picks (especially a late first rounder). He pretty much is what you want out of a draft pick (young, proven, and a solid two way player).

Boozer and Garnett will cancel each other out, Noah will outperform Perkins Or Shaq, and Davis has a slight edge on Thomas. Isn't Gibson decent on defense? (I don't know since I don't follow Chicago's bench as closely)

Do you think Bogan's can match up with Ray Allen?

If he goes to Boston he will be behind the bench instead of on the end of it.....

I think I might value CHA's 1st rounder more than Asik. I'd be happy with either.

I don't completely agree. Boozer might equal KG on offense, but KG will dominate Boozer on defense...Boozer just doesn't like playing D. You can see Thib yelling at him this year often trying to keep him on task.

Noah will outperform Perkins, and has put on muscle in the offseason to put up a respectable battle with Shaq.

Davis has become leaner and meaner and if he can get his **** together, I think he easily bests Kurt Thomas on the boards....Kurt can pull out for that 15 ft jumper though.

Gibson is a good dude all around; traditional hustle player, gets his garbage buckets, can hit an occasional jumper, and stays with his D assignment. I'm surprised more teams aren't calling about him, as he's been a chip in trade talks in the offseason.

Ray Allen would torch Bogans. Bogans is a bum, when he feels like it, he'll be active, on ball D, and hit some jumpers....however that's maybe only 30% of the time. Dude is NOT a starting SG by any stretch of any imagination.

I'm a long time Battier fan. I think he does some things that really make a difference. But, he's the type of guy you want if you're trying to make a real run at the championship now. We're not in the mode to go for the championship now so we should trade him for someone that's going to give us a base to make a push in a couple years. I say Perkins for Battier. Both are rentals. If the Cs think they need someone to throw at Lebron and Kobe, they might be willing to part with Perkins. Perkins brings the toughness we haven't had in a while.
