    Artest will behave - most of his drama is behind him and he's smart enough to know that he needs to show he's reformed to get a good deal and all. Plus he wants to win a ring.

    I think it will be ok. Health of t-mac and yao are really the big concerns here.

    The trade has to be viewed in the context of what the Rox gave up and their other plans for this offseason, which were, respectively:

    1. virtually nothing save the future hopes of a very raw donte greene
    2. nothing

    In that context even a flameout by Ron doesn't seem like a huge net drain.

    All of these analysts that are calling for a Ron Artest breakdown forget about two key factors:

    1) Rick Adelman: Just listen to Artest talk about Adelman, there is going to be no beef there.
    2) Winning team: You just cannot underestimate the power of winning. It shuts people up.

    The only possible beef he could have is if he garners some kind of hatred of Tmac because he wants to be the #1 option, or if he hates management for not wanting to pay him. But again... the power of winning is underestimated here.
