Oh no, the team that Morey has assembled for this season is turning out to be quite a disaster.

So we are a team that can't show any loyalty or honor our word? How will free agents like to be on a team like ours? Maybe he should just put performance incentives/goals on contracts.

Yeah, that's why a major free agent like Dwight Howard didn't sign with us. Oh wait......

Do people still seriously think players don't want to play for us?? How has this not been put to rest already?? (unless my sarcasm meter is way off here, in which case apologies.....)

    doubt he gets traded.

we would likely have to include a pick to so someone can take him off our hands in order for usto get a better replacement.

    Garcia... leaving?

He just haven't been himself this year, been fouling 3 point shooter and missing 3's way to much this season.

Only reason i would see him being "dangled" if he has made it known to the Rockets that he would be open to that. His minutes have been cut, and I think this "injury" might just be something to keep him ready to be shipped without the risk of an actual injury.

He's been one of the biggest disappointments this season, hasn't he? Like ROXTXIA said, Garcia's playoff performance, something that got me excited about signing him to such a small contract, was "fools gold." For someone averaging 20 minutes a game, his production has been pathetic. We would be better served giving those minutes to someone else. I'm glad to see McHale is finally doing that. I hope it's a trend.

Yeah I don't think anyone bothered to check his Career stats. His career three point is 35% he's in a slump right now that puts him to 34% but he has gone as low as 29% some seasons and as high as 39% others. He's the definition of streaky which means he's due to go on a another streak but not one like the playoffs where he shot 45% from downtown, he got us.

Isn't this a bit extreme comment?? There are exactly 6 teams in the NBA with a better winning record right now. I wouldn't call that a disaster, not even a disappointment. My only negative comment would go to Asik. If he would be available and giving 100%, the Rockets would be very close to be a title contender favorite.

Why are we a disaster? Because we're not one of the best 3 or 4 teams in the league after 46 games? Is that really a surprise? Prior to the season Morey said that we couldn't yet be considered real contenders, did you not believe him?

Did you think that Miami was a disaster when they signed THREE stars and then after 46 games were 32-14? Three stars including the best player on the planet and they performed 3 games better than what the Rockets have done? That's a disaster? No matter how much talent you have there is a learning curve for players to learn how to play together and what their roles are on the team. That's especially true for younger teams which we are.

Getting the stars is the hard part, putting role players around them is much easier but it can't be done overnight. The Rockets still have the ability to make moves but that move has to be the right move because we likely won't get a 2nd chance that is as good.

I love the old "loyalty" thing. Haven't heard that one in a while. Ok, I'll ask: Which teams are loyal to their players and put their players ahead of what is best for the team? Who are those teams that won't trade their players to make the team better?

This argument was very popular prior to the Harden trade. Lots of people claiming that nobody wanted to play in Houston because Morey treats players like assets. Harden signs a long term deal here, Howard leaves $30M on the table to sign here and all of a sudden those claims go away. Now they reappear. So , please enlighten us as to who are those teams that do it the "right way"?

I would be sad to see him go, but I would be happy if we got a good second round pick for him. DM will need luck on his side for that to happen in my opinion.

We only had the vet minimum to offer to free agents. So if any of the guys you mentioned make more than the vet minimum, or aren't free agents, we couldn't get them [[that applies to all of them]]

And seriously, Jonas Jerekbo???? A 3 pt specialist??? He's 31% on his career. Oh my.
