Please man. We've addressed basically every hole we had this off-season. From kicker, goal line RB, CB, and we even upgraded our kick returning game. Potentially adding Faneca gives us more depth on the OL. We added a couple of guys already so far.. The game is at Reliant. We're going to win this game. Book it.
Well the Texans are my "other" team, so I am not too malicious towards them. But they are not going to win against Dallas next year. Of course AJ is going to dominate whomever guards him. But other than AJ, I feel completely comfortable with the matchups (Mike Jenkins on Walter, Scandrick on Jones or Daniels). And the Texans are not going to have a top 12 defense with the secondary as is. And to those saying Dez Bryant is slow.... Going off of his recent 40 time (when he was coming off injury and hasn't even played in a game for however long).. Go watch this guys highlights and tell me he is slow.
And I really think a small part of that is also him never having a big game against a good defense. Obviously good defenses are going to slow production down but I can't remember him ever really coming up big. All the tools are there and I am certainly not going to proclaim him a bust, but I think there are a few legitimate concerns.
Why would you think that? They were 13th overall last year after a horrific start with an arguably worse secondary than they have now, plus they have done nothing but add more talent this offseason. (and get rid of a bum who writes on sneakers ) The starting nucleus of the defense is incredibly young (Mario, Demeco, Amobi, Cushing, Pollard, and Barwin are all 25 or younger... and now you add in Jackson) and will ONLY get better from game to game. I would reconsider if I were you.
Wow, what a thread...I will say that I am happy with the Dez pick...late first round for some potential, why not... As for who wins, I have to say of course the Cowboys...but if the Texans win, I wouldn't be surprised...both teams have tough schedules...
