Bryant is going to be a beast. He goes and makes the catch. He is quick and can leap and will give fits to a lot of corners. I think he will be a little bit slower (but more physical) Andre Johnson.

Cannot wait to get Romo throwing to him. I think it will take 6-8 games for him to get his rhythm and game conditioning back. But I expect him to have a significant latter half of his rookie campaign.

I'll take talent over character issues just about every time.....

Dallas is a perfect situation for him should step right in and contribute on one of the most talented offenses.....

Plus I've heard Michael Irvin will be his mentor how could this go wrong?

    Week 3.....

Kareem Jackson on Miles Austin, Fred Bennet on Roy Williams, and Jacque Reeves on Dez Bryant. Gonna be dirty.

Michael Irvin will show him where to get the finest hookers and best drugs in D-bag town. Is that White House still open?

Glover Quin is a starter on the Texans, but the WRs don't matter since they cowboys didn't really address the LT. Romos gonna be running from Mario all day.

The Cowboys new left tackle is Doug Free. He is not Flozell, but he is younger, very athletic and did a good job last year except for coming off the bench in the playoff game. He started at right tackle multiple games and was graded out as the best lineman for the Cowboys in that game. Free will be ok, and the great thing about playing the Texans is that Mario Williams is the only guy you have to worry about in regards to the pash rush.

Do you think Duane Brown is gonna have an easier time against Demarcus Ware (THE premier pass rusher in the game)?

I will be at the game.... Can't wait.

The Cowboys are better and more frequent blitzers no doubt, typical of a Wade Phillips team really.

But to say there's a huge difference between:

    Mario Williams (9)
    Brian Cushing (4.5)
    Connor Barwin (4.5)
    Demeco Ryans (1)
    vs.
    Demarcus Ware (11)
    Anthony Spencer (6)
    Jay Ratliff (6)
    Keith Brooking (3)

Or that there's no one worth worrying about except Mario, is a little out there.

I agree Free will have a fine career, but he's not going to enjoy his day vs. Mario. The Texans defense is going nowhere but up, quickly (went from bottom 5 to 13th last year), so I would be a little more worried than you appear to be.

    That goes both ways.

The Texans have plenty of firepower catching the ball that overmatch the Cowboys secondary.

And a better quarterback throwing the ball. (yeah, I said it)

I'm a casual OSU fan, and I had never heard anything about Bryant being a problem before the draft. I think this is just one of those weird stories that gets played up before the draft that a few of the right people start repeating, and suddenly it becomes gospel. Kind of like Mario Williams taking plays off. Dez Bryant is going to be a damn good NFL wide receiver, and it really sucks that he's going to play for Dallas.

That's not even a contest anymore. The only person that thinks Romo is better than Schaub at this point is Jessica Simpson, and I'm sure she's having doubts.

he's just an ignorant OSU homer. Look at anything he posts about Ok. State and he goes off on rants about how great they are, or how bad any other school is. It must be a tough job trying to back up all that..oh wait..he doesn't..

One has a playoff win and has taken his team to the playoffs multiple times the other has not. Your right not even a contest anymore.

By that logic Mark Sanchez is twice the qb Romo is since he's got 2x the playoff wins.

Dez doesn't have elite speed and was timed at 4.52 and 4.68 in his 40-time. AJ hit 4.41 on his 40.

Dez reminds me of Anquan Bolden and Dwayne Bowe. He will be an excellent #2 WR in the NFL

So I'm ignorant because this I post ONE thread to clear up Dez's "character issue," and since he seems to be a hot draft topic?

Read my previous posts, I never said anything outrageous or pumped up my team excessively. I realize this is a HOUSTON (Rockets) forum, but I can still voice and support my opinion can't I? There are fans of other schools that have voiced their opinions too, and I always try to make fair statements and not bash anyone else or their school or team.........except Texas Tech .....but everyone who has met their fans would say that.

I never said anything bad about Crabtree either though. I just think as far as pro potential goes, I just think Dez is the slightly better prospect though, and guys like Mayock have said that. With that said, I expect both of them to eventually become #1 WR's and dominate for a long time.

Hey atlest I"m not like DD and declare every former player to pass through as All Pros, much less when its Vince Young. ;)

I guess you could look at it that way. They have similar numbers so looking at where they have lead there team to is another good way to compare them. One has been there the other has not. The people saying schaub is miles ahead of romo are a joke though. I would take either one as my starting QB.
