Deng has a terrible contract and the rest are nothing to write home about.

We provide Kevin Martin, Jeffries, Patterson or Budinger and NY's picks.

Martin is a bonafide 20 pt + scorer at the 2-guard which they need. He also plays like a better rip hamilton and will excel with Chauncey. Jeffries is Cap relieve and we give talent and youth and picks.

I think Houston with Yao, Scola, Brooks and extreme depth is a better fit as well.

Remember that Yao and Melo share the same agent and they play a much larger role than people think!

 

You get roughly the same production out of Martin that you do out of Melo.

But I will concede he probably made a call.

The funny thing is we have not heard anything about who Houston is offering, whereas everywhere else, offers are flying.....which could lead one to conclude they are not really offering anything.

We didn't hear any rumors about Artest, Lowry, and even Martin to an extent. It doesn't mean that it's not in the works.

Why don't you just go to the Rockets RR World Premiere Wednesday and follow Morey into the urinal, corner him and force him to tell you what or if he has offered to Denver. Then report back to us your findings, problem solved.

With Dampier being waved and the huge trading chip he was now extinguished, we can rule out Hollingers suggestion of a deal centered around Brooks to Charlotte, Dampier to Denver and Melo to Houston.

Thats unfortunate, because I thought that was a very advantageous deal for us.
