    Bruce Bowen was a competitor, a tough nosed guy on the court, borderline dirty, but not a distraction and idiot off of it.

    Nice try Clutch, but swing and a miss my boy, swing and a miss....


    I will take a guy who is a hard nosed competitor on the court who is not an idiot distraction off of it......

    I felt exactly like you until I read that twitter. Who knows what would happen till we try it. If he embraces Adelman's system the Rockets could be pretty scary for the league. If he doesn't embrace the system that might be scary for the Rockets.

    I know I never wanted Kobe, but guys like Barkley and Rodman who are also idiotic off the court I would take any day. They worked their butts off.
    If Carmelo was like that I'd take him, but the contentious is he is not.

    Yeah, but you can win with those guys....as long as they play their defined roles very well.

    And sometimes you can win with idiots off the court too....if you have very strong leadership.

    We do have strong leadership if Carmelo joins us.

    Yao, Scola, Battier (if he stays), and Adelman are strong leaders who can put Carmelo in check.
