I read it all, but understood very little besides ***** this and ***** that.
Is this what our society has down graded into?
Is any of that English and if so why can't I read it?
Especially that fat chick...what the hell was she saying?
I guess in addition to real English and American English we also now have gutter English.

We should do a poll and see who could understand any of that.

I think it's valid to point out the severe lack of 3 point shooting when you play Lowry, Carmelo and Iggy together at the 1,2 and 3. Lowry shoots 30% from range, Melo-30%, Iggy-31%. That's not mediocre, that's abysmal.

And you can't just say "well, they can step up into a pull up jumper". Being able to stretch the floor with 3 point shooting has been important since it was instituted into the game. Shooting 33% from 3 is the same as shooting 50% from inside the arc (in terms of points per shot).

Furthermore, if you look at all of the teams that have won titles (and most of the ones that have come close). All of them had 2 perimeter players that shot at least 33% from the floor, and usually one or maybe both of them shot around 40%. Again, with a Melo, Lowry, Iggy line-up, we would have NO ONE that shoots over 33% from range.

And additionally, you look at some teams that have been talented for years but couldn't make that jump to contender and you see that in some cases lack of 3 point threats was what killed them. Denver is a great example. People say that the AI/Billups trade worked because Billups is a better leader and better defender and the better play maker... which is probably the case. But you also have to factor in that he can hit 3s at a 40% clip, vs AI hitting them at a 30% clip. If you are Melo having a 3 point threat like Billups to pass to instead of AI whom you can just leave open out there makes a difference.

I don't really know what else to say, having a line-up with 3 perimeter players that shoot 30% from 3 is a disaster waiting to happen.

Some people speak like that purposely. In a lot of cases it's not because they are ignorant or not well educated. It's because they don't have any respect for the language and the whole American/English way in general. Regardless i still would like to see Melo on the Rockets.

After reading that Twitter garbage I am against adding him to the team. We have class guys and I don't think he would fit in here. We would have to go all out gansta thug...maybe after Yao, Scola and the rest move on we can add him and change the name to the Houston Ganstas. I can actually see all the NBA teams changing their names to thugs and ganstas if it keeps going the way it is going...lol

Well, I am sure some people on here talk the same way to their homies, but on here they are pretty smart and eloquent, so you are probably right.

Exactly it depends on how you were raised, who you decide to respect, what you decide to learn regarding what you think is true and what enviroment you were raised in. All these things are sooo important in life and growing up. I for one respect Melo in some ways but in other ways i don't. We have a great group of guys that outnumber a personality type like Melo. Overall i want to see the Rockets win and i believe with him we have a way better chance of that.
