Yes it is, because Carmelo passes.

They have a nearly identical assist number, and ratio.

"Allen/Pierce Combination is similar in certain ways with Martin/Anthony"

This. From everything I hear from on radio(Mannix, Dempsey, Coon, you name it), Melo thinks Denver won't be relevant in the next year or so. And exactly as you put it, he thinks they have peaked out and cannot get any better. He also sees his buddies building something in Miami and Amare in NY, and he wants that. He's ready to move on and move out from Denver.

I agree. Martin would give the nuggets a legit 20+ point a game scorer and he makes the most sense for both teams. He is still young and you could throw in Chase, Hill and 1 or 2 first round picks. Denver has a young promising point guard with Ty Lawson so I'm not sure they would want AB more than Martin. I would give them the flexibility to move Afalo back to the bench where he is more suited and trade JR Smith. Chase would give them a good young SF who might be ready to break out.

Houston could slide Lee into the starting SG spot which makes very good sense. He is a good defender that can hit the three ball. AB and Lee would give Houston two players on offense that can play behind the three point line while Scola, Yao and Anthony all score their points inside the arc. I see this as a very balanced offense even with out Kevin Martin. We would still have Kyle Lowry, Battier, Patterson, Miller and Jermain Taylor to bring off of the bench.

Put your money where your mouth is pal.

Tell the Nugs you have no interest in the Nets, Clippers, or any other team that won't be contenders.

Melo has to know he has to HELP his new team and not hurt it. HE...HE has to eliminate those teams.

If Melo says "I'm not signing with the Clips or Nets." Morey has great leverage and can maybe snag Melo without losing Brooks or Martin.

Well if he is all about basketball then houston would be an ideal location to give him his best shot to win out of the teams he prefers.

I think that's what they did early on but Stan Kroenke threatened to blacklist his agency and the players they represented. So his agency backed down.

Is there any reason you didn't simply suggest this in one of the many Melo threads already prominent in the GARM?

Or hey, maybe you could tweet it?

Sounds like he is getting some strong hate from some Nuggets fans and other teams on Twitter. Losers always try to talk smack and are costing their team unknowingly or knowingly the chances of his service with that talk. That's what losers do though. They sabotage instead of build stuff up for their teams. They should stay out of the Carmelo conversation unless its about stats and team wins.

If Carmelo really cares about winning, the only logical choices are Orlando, Houston, and Dallas. those are the three teams that are rumored to be after him that can actually contend. if he goes to the knicks, they will suck ass because all they have is two great scorers and all scrubs with zero defense. if Carmelo decides to go to a team like the nets, knicks, or clippers, I don't think he really cares about winning, but I don't think he's that stupid. We'll just have to wait and see
