Jeffries + Hill + Brooks would make the salary work out too.

Hell, the last time we played the Nets, Scola went off... hitting 20 of 25 shots, making Lopez his b**** in the process, and scoring 44 points. Just send Anthony the tape and he'll blow off the Nets, ASAP.

The Rockets would be awfully thin at the PG spot, but I still think we can work with Lowry starting. I'd prefer Brooks, but it's not the end of the world if it's Lowry.

But don't forget the big "If" at the beginning of that Tweet. :p

If he's spot on, then - Lowry gets the Point, and ________ backs him?

    (Please don't say Monta...)

And - as per Rosas, Llull is two years away...Rox need a decent 3rd, and this no AB = desperate need for back/up.

No freakin' way. Drop Smith and one of Brooks/Martin and insist on a buyout of Battier so we can get him back.

I wouldn't trade RFA Brooks to pay Melo max money. I'd only do the deal if we could make it without giving up any of the starting five (except Battier of course, who Melo would replace).

Also $21M saved by Nuggets would be $21M added to costs by the Rockets. Even if they can get Melo I find it difficult to envision the Rockets taking on that much.

Do you remember Morey saying that the Rockets want to make this a special year before the lock out?

I bet the Rockets do whatever it takes this year to win a championship.

If we deal Brooks, we end up with Chauncey or Augustin.
