What does that mean? Barry Warner of 610?

 

I'm assuming Barry Warner said it. He has a show from 7-11 on 610. Been in the business for a longtime. Take it for what it's worth.

 

Did you listen to his show today? Is he legit? I'm getting worried, does it mean we will know something tomm?

Warner is pretty legit. He tends to rub people the wrong way sometimes, but has developed some decent relationships over the years. Was a drinking buddy with Rudy T for a long time. Still good friends.

All this being said, it was just an opinion on his part. It's just what he thinks. Basically he thinks the orginization may be working on something. A bit of a rumor, no more no less. Don't get excited just yet. I would be more than shocked if he's the one breaking a deal to land Melo.

So to be clear, these are not the droids you're looking for, move along.

What is she going to do? Divorce him? I don't think she has any reason to get angry if he chooses Houston. It's his career not hers...be a Man Melo. You worked all your life to hold up a NBA trophy and be called a champion (at least I hope) don't let it slip away now.

NBA players are lucky to be in their prime by 35. He and her have the rest of their lives to enjoy theirselves in NYC (and the offseasons) he only has a few more years if he wants to be the man and win a ring.

Knicks FO have not proved they can build a playoff team much less a championship team...why trust them now?

How is it not possible? People seem to forget that a CRIPPLE rockets team with no yao, no back up center mutumbo and a disable $20mil player took HEALTHY lakers team to a game 7. If I remember correctly 2 of those games we almost blew LA by 30 points. No other team in the league has done that. Of course we always use IF in this forum, so I'll use the word IF again. I don't see why the roster we currently have right now could not beat LA and the rest of the league in a seven game series to win a championship if we stay healthy.

I agree if we have a chance to get melo, then we do it. But I would not gut out our entire roster for him. At most we give up is our draft picks, expirings and maybe 1 of our solid players.

 

And pretty much that SAME team won 42 games last year..
