You got me on Berger, heh I only started following him the last couple months so I'd have to go back and see what he reported on and what he was right on. Then again, that might not matter, as you said you recall him being 2nd or 3rd on the scene basically reporting what others already did before him. Not to say your're wrong(because you're probably right) but meh, I don't know, I think he does an ok job.

 

I'd say his list is like

Teams I want, and this agency would give u preferential treatment on any future deals, this would be NY and Ch and maybe NJ

Teams I'll sign with but we are neutral to, this could include us, and would also likely include the lakers, magic, etc.

And no, just no, 75% of teams and may include us also.

 

If CHI wouldn't give preferrential treatment to LeBron, what makes you think they would do the same for Melo?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't that the main reason why LeBron didn't want so sign with the Bulls because they wouldn't hire his boys on their staff?

Lakers seem content with their lineup and I don't see any reason to mess up a possible 3peat.

The Magic virtually have no decent sized contracts to give to Denver. Literally everyone on their roster all the way down to their 12th man are signed to ridiculous contracts.

 

Your earlier post on Melo interested in Houston because of the China factor kind of contradicts Berger's claim.

I will say this though. He was the 1st to report that CP3 wanted out of NO. But we all know how that turned out.

This is a day old I believe.

 

That was an old tweet from yesterday and was only relaying what the Denver Post said. Dont think thats anything new. Edit: CH and R934 took care of it.

tifwiw(as I saw some jump all over Sam Amick in the other thread, which they might of rightfully so, as I dont know how reliable he is but I asked him if anything to the Berger report about Anthony's people not willing to push a deal to/towards Houston and responded: Rockets are involved, but hardly optimistic.
