Yahoo:California judge rules early cell phone termination fees illegal.

Yeah, Sprint doesn't extend the contract anymore after plan changes, but they only changed that relatively recently.

For the record, the last time I called Sprint to complain, they did offer to waive the cancellation fee on the line I was complaining about if I wished to cancel it. Granted, I still would've been a customer (with two lines remaining), but still....
