Out of the top nine teams in the West, I think we're the odd ones out. The Suns just have too much firepower, and I think we've hit a big wall.
Bravo! Agreed. I believe a headband malfunction and his subsequent dismay had kept him out a few weeks at that time.
AI is playing.. so that saves face. Had it happen only ONE year, then maybe... But 2 years in a row.. Keep being 'realistic'
Second straight year that T-Mac got passed on in the final day of balloting, are you kidding me? That's gotta be something fishy going down there, prolly eff'ing rigged secretly.
Ok, let's be serious. Remember 2008 allstar game? McGrady was leading the way and all of the sudden Iverson passed him in the last few days. And he deserved to play that year. This year it is exactly the same. Nobody hears about McGrady so why play him? It is normal that NBA rigged it, no suprise to me at all. Sure Tracy DOES NOT deserve to be in that game but that's another story. I think him playing in this game would be good for this organization long term.
I agree, NBA has some shady practices. Although the whole "deserve" argument to me is bull, pretty much, the game is for the fans and if they wanted McGrady, then he should have been able to play. Although it is just another time when Stern and others are trying to mold the NBA into what they think the fans should want rather then reality. McGrady would have been an interesting wild card in the All Star game and provided he played well, an interesting show case for him. The main thing, I just can't buy in him losing is that Chris Paul came out of nowhere to top him in votes. He is a very good player but he hasn't done much this season.
