Jamison and Miller are ok. I'd be looking at what I could get for Battier and Scola if I make that deal.

Said Amre would be a better fit in Miami because Cleveland has the best chemistry in the NBA and has everything they need.

I kid, obviously, but all of this "Morey owns you" stuff probably makes other GMs hesitant to sign off on deals.

They don't want to get pwned, a.k.a. Moreyd.

 

I didn't realize it was so backloaded. Maybe its not smart to take on such a contract with a new CBA coming up.

I think this trade is ok, but not great. If this trade went through, it would mean the rockets are giving up this and next seasons. The rockets would aim at 2011-2012 season. As a fan, I prefer not to wait so long.

The only guy I could see is Big Z, but Cleveland are not willing to trade him (would like him to be bought-out).
I honestly don't see much i'd be interested in on their roster..

Even if he did hurt himself why would the Knicks not want to do the deal if they can still get rid of Jeffries which is their primary goal to begin with? They want to get enough cap room to sign 2 max free agents and getting McGrady, even if injured, in this deall accomplishes that goal.

Closer to the deadlines teams panick and show their hand.

We are able to get more bang for our buck.

Im 100 % sure there will be a trade as theres more to be gained then keeping mcgrady to expire as long as those contracts are expiring or good players.

we need to talk to more then 1 team at once... and play them off each other..

e.g knicks want mcgrady so we say we are also talking to bulls to improve our positions.
