Now, the rocket should trade Battier or Ariza for expiring contract + young asset (or pick).

we saw him. he was "physically" able to play. that tmac would have improved if given more time.

bucher said he can't "physically" play. that's 2 different things.

    WoW.

You'd think if Tmac COULD play Grover would deny this right on the spot...

Exactly, that's like saying I'll tell you what happens when this trade HAPPENS.

    Grover after Trade:

"Knicks are failures for trading for an injured Tmac who just broke his knee in practice last night."

    lol

Maybe NY has made their final offer and is done negotiating. Morey said "I'll get back to you" and NY decided they have nothing to lose by trying to drive McGrady's value down.

True. I don't think the knicks spread that rumor.

he's the same guy who said tmac was limping badly earlier this season during shootaround v. the warriors, which bullard denied on air.

and if tmac cant physically play, why the hell would walsh/d'antoni been saying for months they want him as a player and hoping he would help them n the push for the playoffs?

and THE KNICKS SAW HIM workout in chicago themselves.

this is getting ridiculous. all these reporters saying stuff, and no actual sources coming out confirming anything really.

We say him play very limited minutes. I thought he looked ok at times and not very good at others (physically). I know we read quote after quote from the organization saying he wasn't ready and quote after quote from the guys who faced him in practice basically saying "he isn't there yet but he will be"

I don't think it's a stretch at all to think the guy just isn't ready for consistent, heavy minutes. Nobody in Houston felt he was. That's for sure.

Is this legit or is TMac trying to screw the Rockets over? I swear, he is the Al Czervik of the NBA.

For the record, I think he can probably play and NY might be behind this. I'm just saying we didn't see anything from him that makes me rule out the possibility that he was never truly ready for an NBA return to begin with. Had he played 20+ minutes two nights in a row I would be more skeptical.

Can someone get a credible link for this. Bucher is tweeting right now and still has not said a thing about this.

unnecessary. The rockets don't have to trade Tmac to NY or anywhere else. They don't have to take back Jefferies bad contract either. If the offer is not in rockets' favor. They wouldn't do the trade at all.

This report is not helping the knicks.
