    Wow,

does this mean Ed Curry and Tmac on the same team?

    That's like Batman and Robin
    or
    Laurel and Hardy
    or
    Ren and Stimpy

Tmac fan telling Knicks fan that Tmac is better than Clyde Frazier, this is going to be fantastic!

I think it would be wise for everyone to take a minute and remember the Lowry trade...how you felt at the time, and how you feel now.

This would be infinitely better than sitting on Tracy's contract.

The trade was if it was Harrington instead of Hughes, we'd keep Cook.

Nah, I'd say it's good no matter what...we're not trading any assets. The ONLY negative thing about the trade is one year of Jared Jefferies...everything else is full of win.

Maybe, but I assume the opposing 4 and 5 would just switch on D.

Knicks fans have been saying that every season since the 90's and the Knicks have gotten are worse now than in the 90's.

    So....

    AB/Lowry
    Ariza/Bud/JT
    Battier/
    Scola/Landry/Jeffries/Harrington/Hill
    Hayes/Anderson

    ???

Im sure they will play some of those PF's at center but still...
Just a bunch of 6-8 to 6-10ness all up on the frontcourt...

Exactly. Jared Jeffries is the Brian Cook of the Kyle Lowry trade, but Jeffries might actually be able to provide SOME help (though I don't really see where he fits in).

Everyone will always have their opinions about any trades/draftees that the Rockets' brass conducts.

Since most of the people on this board can't do crap about it, they might as well just sit down and shut up.

Its not swapping both. Its swapping the 2011 picks, getting the 2012 first rounder and possibly getting a 2nd round pick too.

The Knicks haven't made the playoffs since 2001. We're banking on this trend to continue.

I like the trade we get a nice young 6'10 PF in Hill, with an expiring contract in Hughes or Harrington, and a 2011 expiring in Jeffries, not to mention a couple of first rd. draft picks by the knicks....

The thing I like about this trade is that there's no real longterm commitments in this trade & we lose nothing Important in the trade either.....so I'm all for it!

That's fine, all I'm saying is if he's down to accept his role on the team I wouldn't mind having him on the Rockets. I'm pretty sure his contract expires this year anyways.

I'd rather have him than Larry Hughes.

Looks like the deal will be done in few hours. I am excited as well. It would be nice to see Tracy in NY.

Btw, how will we fin PT for Hill?
