Hughes is a knuckle head, granted. BUT, Lowry is going to be out for a couple more weeks.. We don't need another forward we need someone who can handle the ball somewhat.. Id rather have Hughes playing backup point then anyone we brought up from the D-league.. it isn't that bad..

    I want hughes over harrington.

    - Hill needs playing time. This is the year to figure out what we have.

    - Harrington might help us make the postseason this year. I'm on the fence on this but I think I'd rather us be a lotto team. That way, we could package assets ... say our 1st rounder and 2 second round picks (1 from NY in the trade) .... to move up in the draft and pick a potential franchise or No 2 player.

lol @ knicks fans are split on this.

for: damn, look at all that capspace. and those picks are in the low 20s

against: most teams rebuild around the picks (and it's funny b/c outside of david lee and dano, knicks have sucked at scouting).

Depends on whether we re-sign Scola. Getting Hill significantly increases his chances of being traded or allowed to expire.

I think Lowry is a pretty well-kept secret so I don't expect him to be too expensive. If Scola is off the books, we're under the lux tax or just barely dipping into it next year.

It will be interesting to see if Adelman sees Hill more as a backup 5 or a defensive 4 next to Yao. Either way, I think if Scola is on the team after the deadline, the Rockets are planning to re-sign him. I think he would be too valuable to let go for nothing.

I'd say 60/40 in favor of keeping him. If they don't trade him, they probably re-sign him and trade somebody else instead. But I think there is a fair chance that he will be moved at the deadline one way or another. Possibly with Battier, an expiring from New York, or prospects.

I'd like to nail down our trade with NY before the Stoudamire situation resolves.

If Stoudamire goes to Cleveland or Miami, NY might conclude that their chances of landing either Lebron or Wade have dropped. Accordingly, they might reduce what they're willing to give us, or they might ask for lotto protection for their 2012 pick.

If we are the 3rd team in the PHX-CLE deal I wonder what we are being offered?

Bad ass Morey has NY cornered.

With the Bulls and whoever pushing T-mac's value up Morey can just sit back and wait till Thursday and clean up.

    It true Wizardry.

I'd say Shaquille O'Neal's unsold Rap CD's, LeBron James (bobblehead), a pair of his LeBron VII shoes autographed, AND... AND! the best of Kobe and LeBron Puppet Video commercials! :p

Longtime, add anderson and say a mid first and we're look at 66m. If u look though, the rockets have curry, yao, shane, landry, and anderson in the last yr of their deal. They have till the deadline to get under the lt. So i'm still missing your point i guess. Having curry, shane, and landry totaling 21m can give rox some good snt options this summer.

Have not seen any of The Knicks games but looking at the numbers on Larry Hughes is he even worth it? Anybody from the NY area watch him consistently to give a analysis on what Hughes can bring to the Rockets?
