    ok,

    1. star players have been picked up later in the draft. (gilbert arenas [who is star player despite the gun fiasco] ,danny granger just to name a few).

    2. Maybe if you read my post completely, you would not make dumb leaps in logic.

If we're gonna win with Yao, we have to do it when he returns - he is only getting older, and his particular case is worse given his history and size. Even if Morey somehow unearths stars in the lottery (which is contingent, like I said, on the Knicks not winning big in free agency and continually being bottom feeders; their willingness to relinquish these picks only colors in their firm belief that they're going to win this trade by any means necessary [that is, by spending BIG]), those would be stars that would spend their time developing while the big fella wilts.

    3. The draft is NOT a sure thing, and at the very least, is less of a sure thing (even with lotto picks) than a seasoned vet. The comparison, while non-existent, holds more weight than you give it credit given that none of those guys are NBA-tested and could prove hard or impossible to fix.

    4. Players who are sometimes expected to be lotto picks fall, sometimes all the way into the 2nd round (some analysts had both Budinger and Blair pegged as lotto picks).

    5. Get off deez nutz - read the entirety of my post before utilizing stupid memes.

Keep believing Yao will play 82 games. One more injury and it's over for his sugerically reconstructed food.

You got to have hope, so here you go.

    I HAVE RETURNED...

RT @ChrisCarlinSNY: A source close to #Tracy #McGrady tells SNY that a deal to send TMac to #Knicks is "close and looks like its getting done.

So you believe we should rebuild then? If Yao is still around then we build around him until you add a better player.

Oooh ... "a source close to Tracy McGrady."

McGrady and the people close to him are not credible sources for anything.

They seemed pretty right about MicroFracture surgery.

    1/1=100 Percent

    Source sounds legit

I don't think it's a case of people not liking Harrington. It's about fit. Butler is a true wing who can defend 3's and some 2's. Harrington is finesse 4 that can't really defend any position. PF is our strongest and deepest position. Whose minutes would he take? He is a nice player with some interesting skills, but where does he fit?

I think Harrington is a upgrade on DA and will get more play time than DA.

actually i dont think he will...he wont shoot a high fg% but i am going to say he is going to fill the stat sheet like he normally does IF d'antoni lets him play with the ball in his hands and honestly on that knick team who is going to demand the ball besides david lee?
