    Yea, it doesn't seem right.

    So, whats delaying the trade?

Are they just getting ready to confirm it or do either GMs want more?

    Which is exactly my point....

No way Morey gives up our pick. I don't think I could forgive him for that. I'd rather just release TMac.

I think you cant trade consecutive "future first round picks"

For instance in this trade NY cant give us a 2011 first and a 2012 first, hence the swap in 2011 instead of an outright gifting.

Doesnt seem to apply to anything in the past.

I have read every post in this long thread. The Knicks could still sign Lee if they could not get Bosh, Johnson, Amare, Lebron, or Lebron. Losing Tmac would not be that big of deal as we have seen. The Knicks would be a thin team if they signed 2 of them but say they still managed to get one and build their team with other decent players. I don't know what the Rockets cap space will be if they have to keep Jeffries salary my guess around 8-9 million they can use to sign someone. I don't see how they would have to sign for a discount. Now I am not saying this a bad trade but I don't know why everyone thinks Knicks will be worse than the Rockets next season. Yes the Rockets will get Yao back but who knows how long he will be able to stay healthy, so in the end the Knicks could take the Rockets pick which could be worse if the Knicks finish with a better record.

Haha, it is not end at this moment.
Bulls & Heat is not good recently.
76ers or Knicks still have chance to join playoff. ;)

We didn't trade a 2009 draft pick for Artest. Donte Greene was traded a month after the 2009 draft.

HAHA! All the T-Mac haters get what they want. Have fun with the trash coming!
The Knicks are the true winner at this deal...

    4 Team Trade?

    Hou Trades: T-Mac, Dorsey, Taylor
Hou Receives: Hill, Jeffries, Parker, Illgauskas, NY 2012 1st pick, Swap 2011 1st pick with NY

NY Trades: Hill, Jeffries, Harrington, 2012 1st pick
NY Receives: T-Mac, Dorsey, Swap 2011 1st pick with Hou

    Wash Trades: Jamison
    Wash Receives: Harrington

    Cle Trades: Illgauskas, Parker
    Cle Receives: Jamison, Taylor

Trade goes through if Houston agrees to buy out Illgauskas. Then, if rumored Andersen-Bayless trade goes through...

    C: Hayes/Hill/Cook
    PF: Scola/Landry/Jeffries
    SF: Battier/Budinger
    SG: Ariza/Parker
    PG: Brooks/Lowry/Bayless
    Inj: Yao Ming

Wut. I think you have your years wrong, as Donte Green was not in the 2009 draft, and we did trade the pick, Green, and Jackson for Artest.

even if we can trade our 1st round pick Morey should say "**** you".

they won't find anyone to take Jefferies and they know it. he's getting paid $7 mil. I don't think another team even has interest in Hill.

It's a bluff and if anything they just protect the 2012 pick and go through with the trade.

1st round picks cost money against their cap to so that hurts the LeBron chase a little.

Has anybody analyzed the cap implications of this deal? Does it threaten our ability to re-sign Scola/Lowry?

    ??

We did trade a 2009 1st Round Draft Pick for Ron Artest... Which is why we didn't have a 1st rounder last year.

    From the link you posted:

Read that article again and tell us if what you said about trading our 2009 pick is true....

The Kings chose Casspi with the Rockets pick that was traded to them along with Greene and Jackson
