Was it from Hoopsworld or BleacherReport? Yeah, not worth much.

I heard the only reason why this trade isn't official is because NYK want Rocket's first round pick of 2010?

Agree. Trade is off imo if we have to give up a 1st rounder this year. Taking back Jefferies, setting them up for potentially 2 max players to sign there? No thanks, I'll pass.

The contract of a first round pick is guaranteed. If Knicks' goal is to create cap space, they will not want our first round pick of 2010.

to be honest I think it's just posturing by the Knicks till tomorrow so he can think about it and sign off on the original trade.

This deal is too good (2010 wise) for the knicks to pass up.

Jordan Hill would be the prize for the Rockets...hasn't gotten any playing time but he could definitely get it at center playing for us. They knock his hands which reminds me of another "freakishly athletic, long and lean" player named Stromile Swift. I like the gamble though. You never really know until you let them perform.

I don't know why people are overly excited about the Knicks 2011 draft pick. If they complete the trade the Knicks will be able to max out 2 star players next season, while Rockets will have to hold high hopes that Yao stays healthy the entire season next year. So the Rockets could be facing the Lottery two years in a row but in the end could be getting a worse pick if the Knicks make the playoffs unless this trade is a conditional pick which I did not see it mentioned.
