Dorsey will not get play time in Houston if they get Harrington...

He posted the Knicks can't keep McGrady/Lee if they sign two max free agents. Will it be that hard for a franchise to decide between McGrady/Lee over a superstar player?

I agree 100% Good post. I think that going forward, Yao will probably be a 25-30 minute per game player. We have to limit his minutes for him to have any sort of a playing career. I always felt that Yao can be very good on a good team that doesn't really need him, but has him there as a role player. I know that's borderline blasphemy for some, but this team has to go forward with the thinking that Yao's best years are without him. I don't like this trade as a fan, and it's too much of a toss up to be a "low-risk" deal.

I refuse to read 30 pages

but i'm sure someone already mentioned flipping the picks and maybe a player for Rubio's rights...

whtvr happens, i can't see Morey not making another significant deal with pieces from this trade, either prior t this deadline or this summer.

    Agree.
I think the highest chance for NY is Bosh.
Bosh will leave Toronto and want to go to a team that can be first option...
But Wade will also have high chance to leave Miami if they cannot go to playoff this year...

    More of the same.
    This is coming from NBC

The Knicks and Rockets are getting closer to a deal that would send Tracy McGrad, Joey Dorsey and Brian Cook to New York in exchange for Jared Jeffries, Jordan Hill, and either Al Harrington or Larry Hughes.

There would also be some swapped draft picks, but the details are still being ironed out -- for example, if Harrington is included instead of Hughes, the Rockets wouldn't have to send back Brian Cook. T-Mac would certainly get some run for the sinking Knicks, but New York's real motivation is unloading Jeffries' $6.9 million salary next season.

I think NY is not high with Lee.
They are looking at Bosh and Lee should be able to find a big contract at other team next summer.

No one has mentioned that, but someone has mentioned flipping Budinger + Hill + 2012 NYK first for a top 5 lotto this year.

That is not the point. Will they have enough role players along with the 2 stars who can get the job done?

I've afraid you are rating Bud and Hill too highly, adding the 2012 NYK is not likely to be enough either.

Jeffries is totaly a defense player and do not have any offense skill...
D.Antonie will use him to defend the main player of opposite team at position 1-4.

Lee would be there choice since none of those stars are going to accept anything less than the max.
