NY must be very high on Tmac. Best wishes to him.

Exactly, they could potentially move up in the upcoming draft with all the future assets that they would aquire in this proposed deal.

Yah, I failed a little there.

I don't think Hughes will see many minutes in the rotation though.

He was such a good player in his Wizards' days (wasn't he league leader in steals, one season?). What happened? :(

Possible, but I think they'll save him for this summer. I don't think there will be anybody worthwhile now.

with as much as they are willing to give up for him I'd say they are HIGH on something.

Potential huge huge glut of Power Forwards on this rocket team if deal goes down.

Also next year, I think the plan is to have 2 styles.

Look at all the Rox targets...Tyrus Thomas/Randolph/Biedrins...they want a undersized center...why?

So when Yao gets a break, they can immediately go small and switch up on teams. So Hill could play a big role in that next year.

Well that would screw us over too, if you would rather we pass up on this excellent trade just to piss off TMac.

No, but I definitely think giving him Scola's position before we've even see him play is a bit premature.

Interesting that you said Don Nelson ball because David Anderson is the exact type of C that Nelson wants. The trade with the Knicks also makes Scola expendable. Trade with Golden State coming soon before the deadline??

this is a great trade b/c of the draft picks alone.

Jarred Jeffries: His contract is not half as bad as people make it out to be. He is due 6.5 million next year, and then expires. Not even close to an albatross. The guy plays solid defense, and

Jordan Hill: great upside. low risk, high reward.

Al Harrington: Capable scorer and rebounder, and would be able to really help us in our playoff push this year.

Swap 2011 first round picks, and get a 2012 first round pick. are you kidding me? all these assets and not having to mortgage the future of the team. this is unbelievable.

I hope Tmac averages a triple double...just for the Knicks to lose every game.

I thought teams were not able to trade consecutive draft picks. The Knicks have already traded their 2010 pick. Wouldn't that make them ineligible to use their 2011 pick in trades?

Is there a loophole if you swap picks?

I love the potential this deal poses.

I have one question...and it obviously will be a wait and see approach...we have collected tons of assets over the last few years but haven't really flipped any of them for a star yet (artest the exception but he was an expiring to begin with)?

    Thoughts or comments?
