Woj's Sources probably told him to keep the more damaging stories about Lebron to himself, because before "The Decision," Lebron was viewed as a great, humble guy that only wanted a ring. Wouldn't it be odd that one journalist came out with several articles bashing Lebron? Nobody would read them. I know I wouldn't have a year ago at this time.

However when public opinion of Lebron started dropping, More people decided to read into articles like this, allowing Woj to write more about how he really felt, because he could actually be successful while doing so.

These guys are both douchebags. Hating Lebron is simply the flavor of the month; the media picks up on this and the sheep flock to their stories. Why do you think Woj has written the same article 10 times since "the decision"? Because he knows you guys will lap it up.

To wit, here's one of many articles Woj wrote about Kobe back when hating him was the in thing to do: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-kobe052907

"Sooner or later, Kobe Bryant turns on everyone in his life. Professional, personal, it's never mattered to him. He can be calculated and merciless this way. When he wants something, it seems everyone's disposable. "

"It isn't just that Kobe doesn't have friends in his own locker room, but elsewhere too. One associate remembers a party for Bryant's daughter several years ago, when he looked around and saw no one but people who worked for Kobe. "No friends, no teammates – just agents, a barber, P.R. people … Everyone there was on the payroll." "

"He has a one-track mind that thinks the world revolves around him"

    Sound familiar?

Now that Kobe is popular again, here's what Woj has to say: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=aw-kobebryantchat112310

    Slightly different tune, eh?

Whether you like or hate Kobe or Lebron, at least have some dignity and don't let your opinion be influenced by this two-faced media hack.

Who cares if Lebron is a douche off the court?????????

I'm sure basically every star in the NBA is a self-centered douche, but some just have better publicists than others.

Just focus on how they play on the court because its not like you know them personally so why on earth does it matter at all what stories you read about them???? It has no affect on anything.

You watch sports to watch players play and cheer on your team, not to delve into their personal lives. Even with michael vick and dogfighting, I could care less because what matters is what goes on IN THE GAME

You're right, publicly betraying your spouse (and possibly committing rape) is much less douchey than publicly betraying the city where you play basketball.

    Bingo.

We only hear about Lebron being a douche because he's so high profile. At least he's earned it. There are probably a ton of NBA scrubs who are complete aholes to people because they think they're the sh**.
