LOL that would be hilarious if we traded Jefferies back to them.

I didn't think about it being the Knicks until you mentioned it. But yeah, I think it'd be quite telling of their FO ability to run a franchise.

Yoyo or Bima... What do you think this all means? I know this might sound like a stupid question but I figure it's something to discuss.

Isn't Curry in the last year of his deal as well? I'm not sure the Knicks have any assets left but.. if they really want to get rid of Curry I would gladly take off some of their pick protections and get "baby shaq". Not sure that is street legal.. amending previous deals.

"Dangling" Curry? Would you say "dangling a sack of horse excrements"? As if it was something desirable?

They do have Anthony Randolph, which I would gladly take him off their hands...

I wouldn't want Curry, but a few picks would be nice.

Randolph would be nice. I wonder what we would send along with Jefferies to make a Curry+Randolph work? I'm not sure how under the cap they will be in 2011, but maybe they are trying to clear some salary to go after Carmelo?

Jeffries was a very important player for D'Antoni, he gives defensive versatility to a team that generally doesn't play defense. I do believe in this rumour, but don't know what we could get from them besides Curry.

    Mozgov? Turiaf?

Maybe upgrade to straight up picks instead of "right to swap picks"?

The problem would be matching Curry's contract, much less the 'assets' coming back, unless it's just more picks...

We really could use Andersen's contract now...

LOL Curry!? Either Walsh is stoned or Morey has him on gunpoint. Why would they be willing to give up assets to get JJ back? Unless it was planned at the deadline.

Ohhhh, so this is how it went down: Morey wasn't pleased with "just" Hill, Jared, and picks for tmacs corpse. He was gonna turn it down so he told Walsh that he didn't want Jeffries contact, and something else instead. Donny pleaded, please, ok, after this year we'll take him back. Dm said, well we can't just give him to you we want something. Intimidated, Donny forgot he hadn't given up Jeffries at all yet, so instead turning the whole thing down and saying the word no to Morey's face.. he fell under the spell and mindlessly he agreed to give us assets and Curry! So basically, the trade at the deadline with the Knicks was... dead tmac for, hill, picks, more picks, curry, assets! And Walsh still doesn't know it. Morey Rape!!

Either that or I'm reading too much into it.
