No way - that's a ton of money to swallow and flexibility lost just to grab a pick that could very well be #10 or worse.

    Think about it this way:

If the deal were Budinger and Tmac for Dalembert and Iggy, and instead we wound up with Turner and Nocioni and Udrih...would you do that deal?

Yes, agree totally. For those who talked Kevin Martin, I was thinking the same thing -- his name is missing from there. A week or two ago I talked about this on 1560, but the name I was hearing about who the Rockets wanted was Martin, but Kings wouldn't budge on him. You would think if he was involved though that would be the one name Yahoo! would have included.

Taking on Nocioni and Udrih though? That's GOT to cost Sacramento way more than this. A true lottery pick with zero protection (chance at Wall) I could maaaaaybe see, but not this.

I just don't believe it. Morey wouldn't trade for those contracts without getting a huge asset back. (sorry, Jeff!)

and even then, they would have to feel that nocioni and udrih are replacements for scola and lowry, which i have a very hard time believing

If the Rockets arent getting back at least one of these players then NO Fn way!

    a. Kevin Martin
    b. Jason Thompson
    c. Spencer Hawes
    d. Tyreke Evans

The rest of the Kings team is crap.

I can't see the Kings trading their high lottery pick for two players they traded away once plus Thomas.

Context my friend. Didnt you read in the comment how I said that does NOT make sense?

Nocioni and Udrih make omuch money. If you take on the SALARIES of Nocioni and Udrih, Rockets will NOT have any money to sign Scola and Lowry next season. Therefore they PUSH OUT Scola and Lowry.

For some reason I have an assumption the Rockets will fall back to Iguodala.

Maybe the Bulls help the Rockets get Martin somehow?
