No flash seats bidding is really hurting our attendance

22 game winning streak was pretty solid too.

Have fun waiting. People pay a premium so they can come to the game whenever they want.

Ironically, people that b**** about attendance never actually come to games, meaning there's no reason to actually worry.

    Absolutely.

Basically, for the ticket-paying Houston fans to be really into a basketball team (enough to want to be in seats for either the starting lineups or tipoff)... it takes either a historic winning streak, or it takes 3+ consecutive years of deep playoff runs PLUS an addition of a bona-died superstar.

Attendance was 9,000+ fans/game during the first championship run (coming off a deep playoff run/MVP-like season the year before).... and in the midst of the 15 game winning streak to start the season. They failed to sellout playoff games during the first championship season. The 20+ years since then has re-set a lot of the ticket-buying fandom back to pre-championship level excitement.

Every arena has corporate types in the lower bowl. This is Houston's overall attachment to the NBA... it still runs 3rd in this town.
