    To any of the older, over 30, Stros' fan did this game remind you of the 1986 game 6 against the Mets?

    I'm sure the Yinzers will be all over the place with their reactions. I definitely have mixed emotions, although I'm not a very big hockey fan. Of course, that might change after watching these Olympics. Win or lose for Team USA, this was definitely epic.

    The real winner in all of this? Ice Hockey.

    Maybe this helps get it off the Versus network and back to ESPN over the next 4 years... especially with possible work stoppages in the NFL and NBA looming.

    You mean Olympic hockey.

    There is plenty of hockey between now and then.

    Even on an international stage with the World Championships.

    This may be the last Olympics though where NHL players participate for a while. I hope not. NHL players make the games so much better.

    Then in OT Sid The Kid/The chosen one scores the winning goal?

    Most of the Canadians play for US teams... so that really doesn't make much sense.

    The NHL cities themselves need to captivate their home audiences to buy into the game (which the olympics will do)... after that happens, the national audience will follow.
