Word. They need to get back to basics. These things are turning into flaming overkill theatrical performances.
Did y'all see the people in the crowd pointing imaginary guns at their heads after the 3rd hour of this flamefest opening ceremony? Spoiler Neither did I, but it would've been quite funny... and appropriate.
Ok here we go again. Wow playing the stupid race card and thinking I'm asian because I enjoyed the Beijing opening and closing. Yes, I'm Canadian and our history is boring if I'm comparing it to China or France, Greek ect. Our history is like just barely over 100 yrs old. Maybe you should take a Canadian history course and you'll know what I mean. Most Canadian will tell you that that the Canadian history is damn boring. Insulting? No. It's the damn truth but it doesn't matter. I'm still a proud Canadian no matter what.
You aren't denying that you are of Asian descent. I think China's history is long and boring, much like their opening ceremonies.
You must be a r****ded. Why would you think that? Because I used Cowboy Bebop name and it's Japanese Anime?
Yeah, I'm going to guessed that he thinks that I'm an asian descent or asian because of the way I type, bad grammar and typo. I don't talk like the way that I type. I'm just bad at typing out a coherent sentences.
uhhh? ehh. I'm not watching that flick. I'm a film snob, I'd rather wait for Avatar to hit lifetime network before I give it a go.
I had no idea it was a Japanese anime-related term. I have probably watched anime once or twice in my entire life. But, now that you mention it, that is another possible clue. There are three primary reasons why I assumed (and still am assuming) that you are of Asian descent: 1. Your defensive response to my critical comments about the opening ceremonies at the Beijing Olympics as well as your comment about the rich history of China and the boring history of Canada. 2. Your broken English and poor grammar. I know they say Canadians are a little slow but I'm assuming that's not the reason in this case. 3. There are Yao Ming maniacs everywhere around here. Generally speaking (and, I stress, not in all cases), people from outside of Houston are YOFs or TOFs. At least, that's the impression I have gotten since joining this site.
