Great first period, Ryan Miller seems to be on his game, Brodeur though is lost in lala land. You guys only had 5 shots in the first period, I doubt you will get any more lucky goals after this, we will come back and win, guarenteed! The mods can ban me if Canada doesn't win, 0% chance of that happening.
i have msnbc in hd with dish... though i think nbc made a mistake by not putting this on regular nbc.
Yeah, there's nothing else really going on tonight, but they'd rather show ice dancing and tape delayed skiing events.
They show that game live while taping the stuff they're showing now. I already know who won the Men's Super Combined. Sucks. Anway, the USA played a lot better after Canada scored its second goal. The 3rd period is shaping up to be a good one.
They aren't going to show hockey in primetime unless it's a medal game. They showed the other game because it wasn't in primetime. Primetime is always going to be reserved for all the short-sports so they can show lots of stuff instead of one three hour event. The idea is to get as wide a variety of viewers as possible. By mixing all these other random events, they can suck in a lot more viewers.
Man, that PP really changed the momentum. It's all Canada now. USA just trying to hold on. EDIT: Empty Netter pretty much seals it.
i turned it on with 2:34 to go and all hell broke loose. i don't think i've ever seen that many decent shots on goal in such a short period of time. even the empty net goal was crazy. man, we are just punking canada in these olympics.
Well, this is just the prelims (which is useless because it trims just 3 teams from the pool) so it's very possible that we'll meet again. Beating Canada once was tough. Beating them twice is going to be harder. But for now, WOOOOHOOOO! ChrisBosh: 0%, huh?
