I don't think i've even seen a single commercial for it. But I only watch 2 things on NBC (Office and Parks), maybe thats why. When does it start?

The Houston area has at least 3 athletes represented. Chad Hedrick - long track speed skater from Spring. Won gold, silver and bronze in Torino. Married to a former UH cheerleader Amanda Evora - figure skater in pairs. From Sugar Land, Clements High School. Ruben Gonzalez - 48 year old from Katy. Representing Argentina in the bobsled. First person to ever compete in 4 winter Olympics.
Over here in Australia on cable we are getting adverts for their Olympic coverage. Not one of the commentators they are sending over has ever taken part in the Winter Olympics! They talk the sports, one of the "commentators" say they like Snowboarding because "Its young, its fast and its cool". Another of their commentators is a little known person that hosted a show on Aussie MTV (Which gets seen by less people than will read this post) and her claim to fame is that she is a lesbian. Another is an old news anchor. Its comical, and they want people to pay about $80 to watch these idiots!
More reasons to watch the Winter Olympics http://www.brobible.com/Story/99738 I've just become a big fan of the Russian Curling team: Spoiler Claudia Toth - Curler
i liked curlying before...i'd definitely be checkint it out now. I love luge, bobsled and speedskating. Of course the down hill is incredibly to watch
Curling FTW! It would seem to be incredibly stupid, but it's so fun to watch. But like any Olympics, I'll pretty much watch everything.
So an admitted cheater who had a gold medal and two WR breaking 100m times nullified because of steroids and other illegal drugs is going to light the Olympic flame?
