It's really tough what you're going through. But decide what you can do. It sounds like you know you can't be friends-at least right now. I'd go with that. Lynus and I are still friends, but that is a result of the reason we broke up. And I'm glad we're still friends, but I knew it could happen. I know lots of guys say find someone new. That's fine if you want to do it. I wouldn't recommend it, unless you really just want a rebound. But no matter what, get out there and do something. Go out with the guys or a group of people. See women at least casually. Just have a life and don't sit around and worry about her. You can move on and never get over a person, I believe. Just be strong though and get out in the world! Maybe not. When I read it, I figured she thought if you talked about a girlfriend of yours then she could talk about a boyfriend of hers. That it was an attempt to draw you out. But, of course, I have almost no context, so it's hard to say.
