Simple. What are your favorite games to date on 360/PS3? For me: Sports: NBA 2K8-you could argue that 2K7 was better in many ways, but this series is easily the best basketball series ever, and has totally destroyed NBA Live. Shooter: F.E.A.R-I know it is just a PC game ported to the consoles, but I was surprised at how scary it could be, and at the same time be a very, very good shooter. I've never been that much into Halo, and I just can't seem to get into Bioshock. RPG: Mass Effect--I have yet to play a more engrossing RPG. Amazingly well done Action/Adventure: Dead Rising. Man I LOVED this game. I hear that there will likely not be a sequel which is a damn shame. It was totally off-the-wall. Awesome.
COD4, GTAIV, and NBA2K8 is usually what im playing nowadays. My other games are just collecting dust.
The "lock-on" D was a bad idea and completely stupid. Centers locking down guards on the perimeter? Made no sense. Also the way players will shoot circus lay-ups AND make them routinely wasn't good (this has been patched though). The 24/7: Next, gamemode was better too.
I haven't even gotten around to playing COD4. I'm not sure how that happened, but it's next on my queue for gamefly though.
you're gonna love it, maybe not the single player campaign since its so short, but you'll definitely like the online multiplayer. you plan on getting it on ps3 or 360? BTW ANYONE WANNA PLAY SOME COD4, GTA IV, OR NBA 2K8 online right now? I'm sick, and stayed home from school.
NBA2k8 of course-- and yeah, I play the Rockets, and everyone hates them... Sorry if my home team is a little over powered in the game!! AMIRITE?? Assassins Creed-- is amazing to play again and again Rainbow Six Vegas 2-- pretty awesome CoD4-- for sure
You know I'd be online if I was at work right now. I might be able to squeeze in a game or two at lunch. COD4 is the only game I have for PS3 now and Wii Sports is the only game I have for Wii. I am not getting any new games until I get my new TV.
aight, cool. well once you get that tv, pick up GTAIV and ROCKBAND is amazing. I don't have it but my best friend does and it'll keep you entertained for hours.
Dead Rising was a great game. I wish they had it on the better console. CoD4 was great but I didn't get into online with it as much as I did with Warhawk. The only games my PS3 sees right now are PixelJunk Monsters Encore and GTA IV.
PS3 - MLB 08 The Show, Resistance, and Folklore. Honorable mention to PixelJunk Monsters, although I've been too busy to play that lately. Note that there are probably a bunch of games that came out in the last 6 months or so that I haven't played yet (most importantly GTAIV). Wii - Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn PC (within the last 2-3 years) - BioShock, Oblivion, and Supreme Commander. Of course, those are more or less the only PC games I've played in the last 2-3 years, but I enjoyed them.
