Didn't get a lot of time with one, only like 5 minutes at my buddies place. He only had DR3 and I played a few minutes. I didn't like how the weapons would break after you use them for a minute. Oh, he had almost zero health when I took over and I smashed about 100 zombies before one crawling on the ground touched me and I died.
Wish I had pre-ordered one now. Was hoping I'd be able to snag one through the internal company store, but no dice so far. Maybe I'll try to hit up something local and hope to get lucky.
You're right, they didn't make a console, they made an entertainment center. They took everything that was good about media center, xbox 360, and Windows 8 and put it in a box. They made an apple tv on steroids, they made a box that I can control with my phone, tablet, and my voice. They made a box that can tell when I'm in the room and it gives me my features, but when my girlfriend is in the room it gives her the stuff she wants. They made a box where when I'm watching live TV I can snap on internet explorer 11 and look up something online, like movie times, the phone number for a pizza place, or just stats while I watch the Rockets play. They turned my livingroom into a conference room with the beautiful camera of Kinect and skype. Now I can open presents on Xmas with my family even though they are thousands of miles away and it will seem like they are right there. MS didn't make a console, they made an x*box where x= media center, internet, voice command modulated TV... the list goes on. The PS4 is a nice console, this is an Xbox. Hate all you want, but when I go home I can turn everything on by saying "Xbox on, watch BET" and I'm done. You want a console, go buy your PS4 and be happy. I ask more of my "console" than you do apparently.
You have to make the brand of your cable box xfinity, then try each remote code. All of them will fail, and then the Xbox will figure out that's because you have the X1. It took about 15 minutes for me to set up, but then after it was awesome.
