I know there's no real advantage to pre-ordering games right now but I'm wondering if anyone thinks there will be any kind of deals for some of these launch games. By deals I mean small discounts -- I'm not really expecting it which is why I'd rather just pre-order some of the games I know I'm going to get.
I don't think there are usually deals. Maybe a few dollars here and there, but nothing major (and places like Amazon will try to offer the lowest price anyway...by a couple of cents). Newegg (I think) has been discounting AAA games recently, right around release, but not sure they will for these launch games. Could possibly get a deal through a bundle, but not a huge one. Bundles are usually just trying to get people to spend a lot of money with virtually no discount (which they'll do, because they want the system). (Almost made a "maybe you can just rent some of these games at launch" comment...I'm sorry. )
Ha. Well then I'm content with pre-ordering them through amazon. Looks like GTA V won't be coming out for these next-gen consoles so I'll just buy that when it comes out for Xbox 360.
Does the military have access to gaming PCs? Can they browse the web in areas with no internet access? I dont get why the military is making such a big deal about this...there are other methods to keep yourself occupied, you dont need an XBox One...and not every company needs to think about how to please those that dont have an internet connection. Gaming is a luxury, not a necessity. And fortunately, in this case, there are a handful of alternatives.
I own an xbox 360 but I am not a fanboy nor do I have to any loyalty to sony or microsoft. With that being said, I would like to see Microsoft fail, just for forcing these restrictions on us (the consumer). We didnt ask for this, yet its being force on us. I read an article online that says microsoft can still remove some of these restrictions (always online, trade-in games, loan games etc), in the future. Microsoft better do something about it, cause it will fail and it will fail hard.
There are better chances that you will have to abide by those restrictions not just from Xbox but from PS as well before Microsoft fails... Good luck thou....
Salvy called killzone 4 looks like a N64 game..... http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=7664095&postcount=149 also, where's my second Rockets/Aliens wallpaper?
Clearly I was not serious but it was not that impressive to me to be honest. That's why I made the sarcastic remark.... Don't be mad boo... Looked like every other game ever on the PS3 or 360..... Bioshock Infinite on the other hand did impress me....
I have been a PlayStation owner by the way.... I have even liked a couple of games on PS3... This is one of them Still own my PSP Sooo don't kno what you talking bout.....
No more PS... Only thing I have is a psp that I will admit to still use when leaving the country because I don't like carrying around an expensive plastic console with me. I was never on PSN. I love Initial D and Wangan Midnight so this carried over from the PS2 days. I've played tons of PS3 games at friends houses including Wangan for PS3.... Also loved a few things that Grand Turismo 5 did and for a while I considered buying a PS3 but never got around to it because essentially I became more and more busy as I grew older. From PS2 and the good old days of Grand Theft Auto I purchased an Xbox when ps2 couldn't read discs. I bought it because everyone was talking about new incredible game on it called Halo. Got Halo and never looked back. Thou I will admit I traded in my Xbox for my first PSP and played PSP games for a while until the 360 came out. So yup, Ive missed a whole generation of PS3 games and I'm in no way against some day experiencing them but for now I'm too busy and the games I will play will pretty much be A. Games that really interest me and I mean really... I'm no stranger to PS..... I also haven't been an Xbox loyal all my life..... WHOA Miami and Spurs game is close....!!
