I know everyone is on pins and needles, but I finally reached level 30 over the Thanksgiving break! I was hoping to get to the max before the DLC hits on 12/9. I have Sunset Overdrive, CoD, Halo, and Shadows of Mordor that have been essentially untouched (2 still in packaging), but I think I am going to spend any game time I do have this week to upgrading my alt Titan instead. Haha decisions, decisions. I also have some reading I want to do this week.
Yeah, I have a bunch of games now too but really have only been playing Destiny. I played some NBA 2K15, and a little bit of Shadows of Mordor. Still need to play more Sunset Overdrive, but I played a bit of Peggle 2 with the missus. Congrats on 30, I'm ready to do some raiding this coming weekend.
Level 27 now, my friend is a sliver from 26, and my other has various from 27 to 30. Down to raid this weekend. My weapons suck, but I definitely don't. 23 strange coins waiting on Xur...

im pretty much obsessed with upgrading my warlock now, some of the materials are so hard to find and the legendary weapons and ranking up on individual dealers is a grind.. want to get on some raids and strikes..
all ive been getting from the strikes is strange coin.. for the weekly strikes. and I never get ascendant shards..only energy. that is whack!
my gamertag on xbox is - dallas dws ftw (and no I don't like dallas) ive maxed out vanguard marks for the week already but ill do some strikes and raids to level up. at 29ish have the newest leg armor. just need to max it and get couple more guns.,
I wouldn't worry about that too much. Whatever armor you have is probably obsolete already, unless you're one of the psychos already on the new raid. Personally I'd rather get strange coins than half of the junk I get, at least there's guaranteed exotics to be had. I'm sitting on 28 right now, and I haven't unlocked the new weekly yet. As for the energy thing, the new DLC versions of shards and energy can be exchanged for one another directly at the new npc. It costs some glimmer and a black wax idol I believe.
Legendary items and exotic items unlock at 20. Raids. The daily, weekly, and nightfall missions all unlock after 20 or higher, etc.
