Xbox 360 Doesn't Play Some DVDs?

It wont play any Sopranos DVD. What's up?

My DVD recorder won't play "Shrek the Third" or "Tom & Jerry: Spotlight Collection" DVDs. I think it's the encryption for newer movies. They're trying to stop the rippers, but failing to please the consumer...
