Yeah, I think the variety of weapons is what's going to make this game. Also, new extended TV trailer in HD: http://www.gametrailers.com/player.php?id=12116&type=wmv According to that, there should be a demo on the Marketplace soon.
quick question ( dont' want to create a new thread on this) my lcd tv outputs 1080i im using a the xbox360 HD VGA cable, which allows my tv to display 1366x768 (i believe). If i use my component cables which i have not yet, my TV can display 1080i question is what is the difference between 1080i and what my tv displays using the vga cable. Is one better than the other?
yeah ive had my eye on dead rising and will be getting it for sure...other games i recomend are Call of Duty 2 (although part 3 will be out in Nov), Oblivion, and NCAA football 07.....not so set on saints row though
the demo 0wnz! i dont like that it has a time limit but oh well. i guess too much of a good thing is a bad thing. i love it though, ive been playing it for the past 2 hours. cant wait til tuesday!
I don't know how much depth this has, but it has been fun as hell in the short demo so far. In the toy store, there is a plastic lightsaber that the guy freaks out about when he picks it up. It does crap for damage, but it glows and makes the 'lightsabler sound' when you swing it. All the while your character is going 'Oh Yeah!'. And grabbing the electric guitar out of the music store and hearing it strum everytime I hit a zombie with it is good times.
quick question about the upcoming HD DVD add on for the 360. Will it be able to play regular dvd's too?
Solid. Mall looks outstanding. I'm really impressed with the numbers of zombies they put on screen, even in this small area of the demo. And they huddle together/seperate randomly, so that you can just run into a few or a big group suddenly. Just like a good zombie movie. I will say this; with this demo coming down, Street Fighter 2, and the announcement that Castlevania: Symphony of the Night will be available, Live Marketplace/Arcade had a real good week. I believe so.
And me with a busted 360 *grumble*. Anybody want to lend me $129 to get it fixed by Microsoft? Gates has to make the motgage payment after all.
Game is out today. There are already some (free) downloadable content items on Live you can pick up. Reviews, as RC pointed out, have been really pretty positive. Around 80-85%. Apparently the save system sucks, though the fun of the rest of the game makes it worth it. Lots of last minute talk about this game, too. If you're looking to get it, might want to look early.
I played the demo they have on Live and wasn’t impressed.. I got bored with it and haven’t ever played again..
I bought it but when I got home my wife made me install some lights in my sons room. Then when I was done my son (3 yrs) wanted to play with me. Then I went to my bedroom to play the game but he followed me. And so I couldn't play because I didn't want him to see me killing ****. So I let him take pictures while they flew around in the helicopter and he ran around on the roof of the mall but couldn't get further on his own. Now my wife's asleep and I can't play. Wah!!! Oh well. Back to DS Super Mario.
