Is it just me or is Heisley somewhat of a dumbass? Henry and Vasquez are the only two 1st rounders who have not signed a contract.
Wait I thought Vasquez was a 2nd rounder...? But yeah your right, Heisley is acting like their negotiating over massive contracts, but they're freaking rookie contract for crying out loud!! --RB
Well their rookies already lost valuable training time in offseason. More importantly, both their guys probably gained a ton of weight just from sitting down on their asses. Count on the grizz to stunt the development of their own players.
I'm not sold on Henry being an NBA stars like his recruiting rankings suggested. I think the kid may be the second coming of Brandon Rush. Vasquez though is an underrated player with leadership ability. I don't know what Memphis was doing taking yet another point. Add in guys that got away like Crittenton and Lowry, and the current players like Mayo and Conley and it is ridiculous that they have been loading up on so many point guards.
What? Nobody expects him to be an NBA star... they expect him to be a solid player, possibly starter.
