Watched a couple of the Wolverine & The X-Men shows recently, its entertaining. I like that they include a huge cast of characters right from the start. It got canceled right?

I am pretty pumped for the new anime marvel shows that start on G4 at the end of this month. They are doing X-Men, Ironman, Blade and Wolverine. I believe Wolverine debuts the last Saturday of July on G4. All 4 of these have great potential and my favorite super heroes of all time.

Yeah, funding issues. I was actually pretty pumped about the AOA series that Wolverine and The X-Men was suppose to start.

Man that show was great.I was actually surprised by how good it was. If that show would have stayed Nicktoons would have had an even more beastly action block.

Batman was great and weirdly enough I don't think it could have been done without the tone set by the first movie. Burton reliving his goth loner childhood made for some good cinema once.

i loved the original animated series, I'm watching it again right now.
I saw that Marvel made a 4 series deal with some Japanese studios in the last few years to bring some series over there.

    Iron Man
    Wolverine
    X-Men
    Blade

The first three are complete, Blade just released the 2nd episode this month.
Just search Marvel Anime, I saw the Wolverine and X-Men series and I liked them alot and it reminded me of the original animated series.

Batman was a classic series. Seemed like it was directed at an older audience while it still worked as a cartoon. I don't watch cartoons anymore, so I wonder if any have the same feel and tone as batman rather than mindless crap.

Well, when compared to contemporary shows like Justice League: Unlimited, Spectacular Spider-man, Avengers: EMH, Young Justice, even Iron Man: Armored Adventures, the writing and animation does come off a bit stale (not terrible, just 'meh.' Never latched onto a style or personality and ran with it). I guess the network felt they weren't getting their money's worth. Still, it was much better than the original TAS (which, sad to say, does not hold up very well, imo), and about on par with X-Men: Evolution.

I agree with you but at that time JLU was off the air; Spectacular Spiderman was recently cancelled; Avengers, Young Justice were doing concept art. At that time Wolverine and the X-men was one of the best cartoons on TV besides Avatar.

I watched season 1 of Iron Man already its pretty good

I tried watching the first two episode of the X-men anime but I just couldnt get into it, not sure why exactly I guess its how they drew some of the characters.

Wolverine I havent watched yet but downloaded some of the episodes

I am watching the new Avengers cartoon series via netflix right now and that is pretty entertaining

From my understanding, Wolverine and the X-Men had pretty good numbers as for viewers. The first two episodes had one of the highest they had on their network. Problem was there wasn't enough kids that were into the show.

I think some of the issues that a lot of these cartoons for Marvel and DC have is it's more targeted towards adults more than anything. Kids nowadays like Wolverine and etc but they're not in love with it. I grew up watching TMNT, X-Men, Ghost Busters, Spiderman, Batman and etc... LOL I remember watching the MC Hammer cartoon! The stuff they are now showing, it's crap. Can't compare if you ask me.

X-Men Anime story was ok, the Wolverine Anime story was better.
