The problem with the Hardy match was that as soon as Matt entered the ring he telegraphed exactly what he was going to do by the way he was interacting with Jeff. There was no surprise to it 2 seconds after he got in the ring. The head booker on RAW is an idiot...and I've been saying that for months. He is the one that got Nash hurt and ran off SCSA. I'll gladly take the job if you can get Vince to offer it to me. Hell RC...I'll even put you on the booking committee.
Hmm... a 15-year old with a high paying job, traveling around the world and meeting famous people. Should I take it? YEAH! Hmm... must find Vince's e-mail address...and soon.
What I hate about WWE. Hulkamania/Hogan Rock vs Triple H for the 375th time. Female wrestlers except for Trish. She is actually decent. Molly is good too. Lack of elevating the Cruiserweights Why the heels always leave cage matches through the door, and never the top rope, and faces always over the cage and never through the door. The WWE trying to make us boo heels, and cheer faces. Not enough Heel vs Heel guys. I would like to see Triple H vs Kurt Angle and crap like that. Too many PPVs. I like the Idea of six PPVs. the Royal Rumble in Jan. WM in mid-April, KotR in June, SummerSlam in August Survivor Series in November and probably something in the end of Feb start of March for another PPV. 30 bucks for 11 ppvs and 35 or 40 dollars for WM. thats a little too steep. I would like to see the good wrestlers get pushes. WWE "hardcore" matches. Acknowledge past story lines from 1998 and crap like that. Lack of pushes on good veteren ECW wrestlers. WHAT? WHAT? man i hate that. WHAT? Most of all. WHen i go to WWE shows, there are always drunk rednecks saying waht? what? what? What I like about WWE. Can't think of any. But I like it My favorite current WWE wrestlers. no order Edge Lance Storm, Christian, and NOT test. Chris Jericho Chris Benoit (damn all these guys are canadian) Eddie Gurrerro Rob Van Dam Tajiri Ray My Stereo Junior Rey Misterio too. My favorite WWE(f), WCW/(NWA), ECW, New Japan, AAA wrestlers all time. Stone Cold Steve Austin Bret Hart Shawn Michaels Sting Undertaker RVD (ecw) Jushin "Thunder" Liger Masa Hiro Chono The Great Muta I guess i have to pick a AAA wrestler, so i will pick Cibernetico
Kam-- I disagree in part (a little) and agree with a lot of what you said. You really seem to know your stuff...I'll add you to my booking committee if you'd like. Ref, RC Cola and Kam...we'd rock fellas.
Speaking of booking, any of you guys ever play Extreme Warfare Revenge? Not as detailed in the match department as other simulators, but hands down the best regarding promotion warfare. http://www.tanc-online.co.uk/ew/
I forgot to mention Kanyon as someone I would like the WWE to pick up. Another good one might be Scott Norton if he still has something in the tank.
I forgot to mention Kane as somebody I like. I like him because he is a big guy that can move, and run and jump a tad bit. I don't like Kane vs UT number 475
Kanyon is under WWE contract. He is rehabbing an ACL tear and will return soon. Scott Norton ran out of gas in the tank 3 years ago.
www.prowrestling.com www.pwtorch.com These are both good sites. Beware...not all of the info on these sites is accurate. People will start rumors (even Internet journalists). I find that most of the stories posted have at least some attempt at validity though.
Is Matt about to turn heel? eh, regardless, the wwf needs to do something drastic. How ironic. The wwf sre 5 and 6 rating points going head to head with wcw. Now they draw 4 and 5 rating points against no competition.
Competition made the product better...no question. I'm praying that Rupert Murdock starts up a promotion to air on the various Fox networks. I haven't heard anything about it recently, but every so often that rumor pops up. I don't think Matt will turn heel...he just turned Smackdown.
I remember seeing him like this, before. I think it was on one of those old NWA events. My dad told me who it was, and I was REALLY surprised.
Hearing about Rick Rude made me think of this: http://www.garywill.com/wrestling/decwres.htm This is a list of deceased wrestlers including the year they passed. When I visited this site it was a trip down memory lane. Some of the entires are linked to a tribute page for the wrestler. You all may wish to check it out and pay hommage to those who came before and paved the way for what we enjoy so much these days.
