BTW, does anyone know what's up with the numerous NFL referances? They keep mentioning that this is better than MNF. I don't recall them doing this before.

Eh...he's ok. I kind of liked his new stuff lately, but its been pretty stupid as well. (funny stupid, which is something I like.) He's never been like a top dude though, imo.

The NFL references were probably because of all the Texans at the match tonight. A buddy of mine at the event called me on his cell to tell me he saw Carr, Kailee Wong, Steve McKinney and Gary Walker among some others.

There are always players in the crowd though. They're in competition with MNF for the18-34 viewers. RAW used to take shots at Nitro and smackdown as well.

I don't ever remember them doing this before, though. Wouldn't they have done this like last week? Its not like MNF season premiere was tonight. But you probably are right that they are trying to get some more viewers.

I remember a few years back when Nitro was in Phoenix as Barkley was sort of like an Un Official member of the four horsemen. at that time they were heels, but it's the chuckster.

Damn, 4 horsemen were a long ass time ago...

I can't believe they had losers like Barry Windham and Paul f'n Roma in that group. Hell, Mongo McMichael too.

I was at RAW tonight. I must say that it was a good show from my perspective in the stands. Booker T and Goldust are a great pairing...kinda like the Rock and Sock Connection.

Only half of the upper deck was sold...the other half was EMPTY. The lower level looked to be about 90-95% full and the floor was sold out.

Kane was AWESOME tonight...good ring work and a fantastic main event.

4 horsemen could work in the wwf. HHH (world champ) Y2J (IC champ/contender) and a stout tag team Benoit and Storm maybe? Maybe?

Too many Canadians. Although I do like the idea of The Horsemen with Ric Flair taking the role JJ Dillion had in the 1980s. :)

Was at the show too. I thought it was an ok show. I just finished watching it on tape and was disappointed they didnt show the beginning, u know with Union Underground singing and the big firework show right when it starts. Thought it was odd not seeing it on TV. I caught myself on camera twice, behind Lita in the background when she was talking (really blurry) and when they showed a couple of guys behind me showing their RVD sign (for about 2/3 of a sec). The show wasnt too bad, could have been worst. Beats the Smackdown I went to in April, but the Smackdown from last year on 9/13 had to be the best one I have been so far.

I saw myself on the Titantron several times. I was in section 123, Row G, seat 9. Where was everybody else who was there?

How come nobody took me? Damn Punks.

Anyway, my take on the show.

Did you guys notice JR keep saying Houston this, Houston that? I noticed the NFL thing, and each time they did, I switched to MNF. I looked at the score, then I looked at the game for a sec, then I looked at the score again. I was like ****, the Ravens are leading, by two TDs.

Is it me, or does Booker T always lose when he comes back home? I remember the House show in January, it was Booker T vs Steve Austin. Steve is kind of a home towner. I remember he mentioned "Stone cold grew up 60 miles down 59." At the last house show I went to, He won, because he was tagging with the Undertaker. And no chance in hell will the Undertaker lose in his hometown.

I thought the sorriest match was Trish and Victoria.
T and A is great and all..

Randy Orton is a dork. He's too Rocky Maivia ish. Good guy, all loveable and crap. Fans will turn on him. Maybe that will be good for him.

jeff hardy vs big show sucked for the 458th time. is this suppose to go somewhere?

I think the show was good. I am biased because it's in Houston.

Stupid Survivor Series is at the Garden.

Hey a-hole. I have relatives from Saskatchewan and Calgary, Alberta, Canada. ;)

I think that would be a solid 4 horseman. After all, Benoit was one himself. Do you have any suggestions? The 4 horsemen usually have one world title contender, one IC title contender and a tag team contender. Of course, Benoit may have outgrown any tag team and he may be Jericho's peer in the single ranks. Orton is 4 horseman material, imo.

Best version was Flair, Windham/Luger, AA/Tully.

If I had to field a 4 Horsemen it would be:

    Triple H
    Randy Orton
    A repackaged Billy & Chuck

I realize this would necessitate a trade to get B&C to RAW...but it could happen.

I saw myself for like 1 sec on TV when a couple of guys behind me had a RVD sign, and I was like 2 rows in front of the guys. I was pissed cuz I had a better RVD sign, and they didnt show me. :(

BTW, I was 2 sections over to you Ref at section 121 Row D seat 9.

    Section 128, Row U, seat 12.

Cool show. I'd forgotten what a live show as like, its been so long. Strangest thing of the night? The chick in the cowboy hat who was getting the biggest pop of the show.
