TNA's negotiating with WGN for a TV deal. If that falls through they might go back to FSN, since they apparently ended on good terms.

If they go to WGN they're in trouble though. The timeslot would be Monday at either 7-9 or 8-10. RAW and Monday Night Football when it comes back would kill them.

Yea there's a big ECW PPV on Sunday. Ah the good old days of barbed wire, catfights and flaming tables.

My gut feeling is that Batista loses the World Heavyweight title to Triple H at the next pay-per-view, and then Triple H gets drafted to Smackdown as their last pick. It could also go that way with Christian or another person winning the WWE Championship from Cena and getting drafted to Smackdown, or even Cena or Batista going there with their titles intact straight up, but really, has Triple H ever lost three pay-per-view main events in a row?

There's also speculation on other boards that since Smackdown is set to move to Friday (a bad night for ratings) at some point in the future, Vince is going to move all the top stars to Raw and let Smackdown wallow in mediocrity.

    Sorry, boss. I didn't think you'd mind.

By the way, what is in everyone's CD player right now?

The invasion is good. Too bad WWE is gonna ruin the ppv with WWE people. Though it'll be nice to have some ECW back for a night.

ECW One Night Stand was perhaps the greatest PPV I've ever seen. Ahhh the memories!

Yup, I have to retract that statement I made. I was never really an ECW fan, I will admit, but I wish I was after watching the ppv. Just amazing stuff and the WWE crap didn't get in the way too much. I actually enjoyed them being there because of all the "**** YOU SMACKDOWN" chants.

Btw, regarding the earlier statements about TNA Wrestling, they'll be streaming iMPACT! at least for the next few weeks on their webisite on Real Player every Friday. So you guys can check it out if you haven't seen them before. We do need another alternative out there.

This has probably been mentioned before.

I watched the start of Smackdown last night and was shocked to see an anti-American, Arab character named Mohammad Hassan. At a time when Arab (Muslim) relations in the West are tense, why is the WWE adding fuel to the fire? Educated fans know Hassan is reading a script, but I am not sure if the WWE's redneck, wrestling is real fan base knows. I also heard Hulk Hogan wants to come back to "kick Hassan's ass" when we all know Hogan just wants to jumpstart his daughter's music career.

it's no different than the 80's when Hogan was feuding with the the Russian, Nocoli Volkov (sp?) or 90s when Hogan was feuding the Iranian (although we were at war with Iraq at the time), the Iron Sheik .

but, i can see how this could be worse since the attacks were on US grounds.

Come on, you're expecting some type of class from Vince McMahon?? And I don't honestly think that many people believe rasslin' is real.

Don't forget about when Sargeant Slaughter was feuding with Hogan, when Slaughter was a Middle Eastern sympathizer. Coincidentally, it was in the early 1990's, around the time the US invaded Iraq who invaded Kuwait.

That HBK turn was actually pretty exciting! Haven't been interested in nearly anything in WWE for a couple years, but that was well-done.

Otherwise, a completely directionless show. The Edge/Lita thing is going nowhere without Matt Hardy. I can't muster any sort of excitement over Jericho/Cena because we all know Jericho is nothing more than a witty job boy.
