I thought the writers played the race card somewhat with Triple Hs promo against Broker T last night. The "your kind always loses", you are an "entertainer", you come out here and dance, you do that well, but you will never be "in my class" speech. But not as blatant a race card as the Teddy Long spots.

This whole discussion reminds me of when I used to watch this stuff.

I was in college and we were watching when Goldberg debuted against a somewhat notable player on WCW (some dude with a green mask who later acted like he was DDP).

We were like "look at this clown in the black speedo... they didn't even give him a character... WCW writers are getting lazy with the scrub material.."

(very predictable start of the match... then came the "spear" and the subsequent jackhammer  )

You knew it was all scripted, but there was always a tiny glimmer of hope that some dude would just get really pissed and start kickin serious a$$. Since it was live TV we thought for a second that's what had happened.

"OH MY GOD DUDE, I THINK THAT GUY JUST STOPPED ACTING, HE IS SERIOUSLY KICKING THAT GUYS ASS!!!"

The announcer's sounded as shocked as we were. We were hooked for all of Goldberg's 72-0 run.

Joe, I agree. And, HHH said "brother," also. MAn I hope he gets the push. I'm not liking next weeks Booker/rock match wehre the Rock gets to pick his opponent if he wins.

Angle vs. Brock for Mania is off. Angle tries to get Heyman out of the cage match. Steph gets pissed and says if Brock wins he gets Angle next week. Needless to say, Brock beats the snot out of him despite Team Angle.

Angle's neck injury is worse than feared. So, Angle's going to drop the belt next week to Brock and be out at LEAST the rest of this year. Brock gets to try to start up a feud with someone in the 2 1/2 weeks between that Smackdown and Mania. Not looking good, as who's going to feud with Brock? Unless they turn Benoit and/or Rhyno quickly, there's no heel that's been built up enough to challenge Brock. We'll see.

    Hogan. Now.

Hey, a guy can dream. Turning Brock heel wouldn't be too hard either (which might actually be easier than building up one for him to fight). Just show the Hulkamaniacs the footage from last August, and put him back with Heyman after a screwjob on Angle or something.

Eh. Looks like we're gonna get Big Show again....

    or A-Train.

    Replying to SPOILER,

I bet they will shell out more than ever to have Goldberg now. I would LOVE to see Brock and Goldberg fight it out at WM. Who cares if they were both to be faces, it will draw big $$$ for the WWE.

I guess that would be okay. BUt I would have Brock stomp a hole in Goldberg's punk ass.

Just realized this only gives them two weeks to build up the match. Two weeks!

    I wouldn't mind a Mystrerio-Lesnar match. It would be a fantastic David-Goliath program.

Not a fcuking chance. It might be entertaining on sd!, but not on a freaking WrestleMania. I don't think anybody would buy in to it.
