LOL. I just remember hearing fantatic tales of Kane hitting Vader in the head with a gigantic wrench (was that the same show?) and Austin giving Chyna the stunner.

Ah, the days of Attitude... ;)

FINALLY...THE REF HAS COME BACK TO KING OF THE RING!!!!!!!!!!!

OK...it'll actually be my first KOR. But Mrs. Ref and I will be there...trying to get tix just off the floor staring at the mid portion of the ring. It'll be difficult...but if I'm working the day they go on sale, Mrs. Ref will be at Ticketmaster. :D

How come Bubba Ray doesn't stutter anymore? Both Bubba and Kane must have had great speach therapists!

Also, what ever happened to midget wrestling?

The wwF is coming to Houston with the King of the Ring? Hell ****ing yes.

It was called No Way Out of Texas.

I guess they shortend it to No Way Out. That PPV sucked ass. Savio Vega was the surprise partner and stuff. Woooo. Savio Vega.

I want to go with my friends. But my little cousins wants me to take them, I know it already.

    It better not suck.

You know what I just realized?

Say somehow, the Rockets make it to the NBA Finals. The Finals is played on Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The King of the Ring is June 15th.

What if the Rockets have a home game that day in the Finals?

    Interesting.

Not going to happen, but just wondering.

June 16th, Raw will be in Houston, Texas too.

    At the Compaq Center.

I found this link after doing some searching off the internet. It has the schedule up till July.

Man...I hate to miss a live event in Houston...but there's no way I can go to both. I won't be able to get out of the office until almost 7 on that Monday. I guess I'll just go to KOTR.

What time is first bell? Is it still at 6:30? When I pay to go to a show, I like to see the whole thing...dark matches included. It was at the last RAW in Houston that I got my first look at Nunzio. :)

I am going to try to attend both shows. THat is some serious change there. I am trying to decide whom to go to the shows with. I am probably going to go to the KotR with my cousins. and to Raw with my friends. That way, we cand be rowdy and obnoxious on live TV. I can't do that with my friends around.

Yea the last Raw \started at 630pm, but damn the dark match was "ok" with Johnny Storboli but SNH sucked so bad, I was even kinda bored. The only thing great about it was Hurricane had a match. Plus I witness the WORST mic work with D'Lo, no wonder he got fired :p .

Bad news. King of the Ring may be cancelled:

WWE King Of The Ring PPV In Jeopardy Of Being Cancelled
Written by Ryan Clark on March 03, 2003 at 01:00:17

It appears as though WWE is dropping the King of the Ring PPV in an effort to extend their brand split and PPV schedule. The June PPV would turn into a 'RAW brand only' show while the July PPV (Vengeance) would be 'SmackDown! brand only'.

WWE.com still lists the June PPV as King of the Ring, but the Dish Network is listing it with the title as "TBD."

Over the past several years, the King of the Ring PPV has been considered a failure. In recent years, WWE has cut back their focus on the tournament itself to hype the bigger matches on the card.

We will have more details on this story as they become available.

I will be very disappointed if Booker jobs to the Rock next week. Don't think it will happen though. He hasn't been cleanly pinned in awhile.

The Rock is brilliant. Excellent performance tonight.

Kinda disappointed that Austin didn't stun Bichoff's entire welcoming committee when he arrived though. Guess that's what he gets for walking out. ;)

Either way, if King of the Ring is cancelled, they will still have a June PPV here. But would suck if it was Raw Brand only PPV and then having Raw AGAIN the next night at the Compaq Center.

Rock's confrontation with Stone Cold was wonderful. Brought back memories when the 2 fought in a dark match at Smackdown back in 9/13/01. Can't believe have Stone Cold is over and extend my repects to him for thanking the fans. Hope they did more after the cameras went off.

STone Cold has always been over. He appeals to the working man, and you never root against those guys. Rock has always been the "prima donna."

I expect Booker/hhh and rock/scsa at wrestlemania. Booker has been pushed and he is the laymen's champion. I hope he defeats hhh at wrestlemania.

Well, it looks like King of the Ring has been put out to pasture (published reports, at least). Of course, if it was a RAW only PPV, who the heck would win the tournament? It's normally been a stepping stone for an up and comer to take the big step up, but on RAW NO ONE has been moved up. RVD? He's stuck with Kane. Hurricane? Despite Rock's efforts, he's still a comedy jobber. Orton or Batista? Apparently out for months now with injuries. Might as well scrap it unless HHH wants to win it so he gets to crow about something else.

As for tonight, solid show. Not a whole lot of action in-ring, but Rock/Hurricane, Austin coming back and confrontation made up for it. Plus Jericho hets to job to HBK *grumble* can't forget.

Well, I still want to go to one of the two. I'll have to see what I can do about getting one of the two off (can't get both, no money). Anyone else wants to get a group together to go to one let me know and I'll jump in.
