BTW, apparently Paul Heyman has been demoted from head writer of Smackdown to a special consultant to both shows. From what people can tell, he lost to a power play from Kevin Dunn (who, incidentally, recently said that there should be shorter matches and more backstage stuff/skits). So, looks like the second W in WWE is losing even more of it's place in the company.

    WHEEEEEEEEEE!!

Rock's new into was pretty cool. It looks like an aerial shot by helicopter flying over LA and the LA freeways, and shots of a helicopter. Then it cuts into flashing pictures of the Rock. New music, too. I guess it goes along with the "Hollywood star" thing to get the Rock some heat. I actually like the Rock as a heel; I was tired of all of the old "sign along" lines he did. But that new tattoo is hideous.

Did anyone see the show? If you did, did you see when Hogan had a chance to blade? I didn't see it. Rock hit Hogan with a chair, and then Hogan fell on the mat face up. Next thing you know, he's cut across the forehead. Normally when they blade, they are lying face down (like when JR did last week). I don't know how he did this one.

The Stone Cold wuppin on Bischoff was good fun. Stone Cold looked like he had been working out on his off time; his arms definitely looked bigger. Good to see him back.

With the real stars, Stone Cold, the Rock and Vince all back, ratings have to go up.

Yes!!!!!!!! A well deserved push for Booker. Will he be the first black heavyweight/wwe champion ever? Good move. Nice push for Booker. He hasn't been cleanly pinned in a long time, so I saw it coming, though not to this degree. I hope he beats HHH.

New Rock is cool. Now, can you dig that..................

Booker finally gets a break. Ever since they pretty much ranked him wayyy down after he lost to the Rock back in Summerslam 2001, he deserves this push. Plus he needs to REPRESENT Houston BABY!!! The heel version of Rock is great. His confrontation with Hurricane was just flat out HILARIOUS.

Hurricane: "I know one superhero i can beat!"

    Rock: "Whos that?"

    Hurricane: "The SCORPION KING!!"

Rock: "What??? You have no chance..."

Hurricane: (interupting the Rock) "Even Brandon Fraser beat the Scorpion King!"

    HAHAHAHAHA, classic stuff there.

I am sorry, there is TOO much hype for Austin. I guess he is worth it for the WWE and hope he has gotten his act together.

BTW..the Golddust segment was sickening. It's time to lay off afflicted people. Those jokes just aren't funny.

The Hurricane can rock the mike. He is really becoming one of my favorite guys. Plus he has the choke slam thing, which is great.

I don't know how are they going to pull off the Terret Syndrome angle. I think it's a sad angle and the WWE's reason is they have nothing for Goldust at this point.

Ken Hoffman mentioned it in his column yesterday as one of the last big events in the Compaq Center before the Rockets move out. It's June 15th, but no announce date on tickets yet.

I'd like to go, but getting Sundays off are a pain. Plus, I'm not going by myself so if any of you rasslin folks want to try to get a group together I'll get the day off.

I am defintley want to go. I know about 2 other guys I know that would. But the thing is the price. They are a bit more pricey than Raw and Smackdown events. I would probably pay $100 at the most for floor seats.

Yeah price is going to be kind of a big deal. It's one of the big 4 PPV's (KOR, Wrestlemania, Survivor Series, and Royal Rumble) so it's going to be a bit expensive. Anyone who knows a scalper let us know what the deal is, purty pleeze? :p If I find anything I'll post it here.

I dont think it will be as much as lets say Survivor Series and Wrestlemania. Usually they are at BIGGER stadiums than the Compaq Center. You can pretty much get an estimate of much they are going to cost at the PPV after Wrestlemania.

Pop Quiz: What was the last PPV at the Compaq Center?
