you know being a wrestling fan is quite a good thing.... if you´re ten years old.....

no offense here, but i just don´t get the whole wrestling fascination.... it´s just plain stupid..... and has nothing to do with sport at all....

I don't see why anyone would be offended.

It has nothing to do with whether it's sport or not. It's entertainment which happens to involve athletes.

Thanks for enlightening us, Troll. If you dont like it great. I think most of the video games that people waste time on are stupid but I dont go into the thread and say that video games are for 12 year olds. They like video games big deal. Have fun. I dont watch wrestling anymore because I dont think the product is very strong but I know why people like it. It is fun to watch and even more fun to see in person. Bottom line, go antagonize on another board.

Because wrestling (not just the WWE) is entertainment. It's just another genre on television that people like to watch. Storylines are what we follow. We like to see certain people fight. Yes, outcomes may be predicted, but it's all about how those athletes in the ring get to that outcome. Of course lately there's been some stupid crap on the shows, but it won't detract me from watching.

Sadly, he died in that incident. He had a superhero gimmick in which he would fly down from the ceiling on a rope and it went wrong.

Quit the WWE and moved on to New Japan Wrestling. Detests WWE now.

They just do that because it's fun. If they really held a grudge they wouldn't buy a ticket.

Apparently, Lesnar touched off a major brawl during the Chiefs/Vikes scrimmage yesterday:

Looks like he sacked Huard, when he was clearly off limits. A big no no during training camp. I'd be pissed if I was the Chiefs.

I saw him on ESPNews get into it with a lineman, suplexing him to the ground and then kind of punching each other. But I didn't know he did all of that stuff as well. He's really setting an impression. I guess he'll do whatever it takes to at least make the practice squad, and doing this, while not necessarily a thing most of the NFL players will like, is a way to do it. At least he's having fun. ;)

Crap, I just remembered the Cowboys play the Vikes their first season game. Hope they don't keep him to injure Vinny.

    What a jackass.

If he wants to fight people, he should start training MMA and fight in UFC, PRIDE, or K-1 -- he can fight all he wants there. Otherwise, he's likely to be a practice squad player for a few years who survivies as a curiosity and not much more.

That might be lucky for him, because if not he might soon learn that when you play dirty and try to hurt other teams quarterbacks, a 330 pound man might be less hesitant to try to cut block you below the knees -- and nobodys running in with a 2x4 to help him out.

How do you let a guy who hasn't played football since high school get past you to your quarterback?

Also, if you don't think this is exactly what Tice wanted - you're wrong.
