That guy with the 5 o'clock shadow who would come into the ring with that huge chain? He was pretty cool back in the day, if we're talking about the same Hercules.
Yup that was him. I thought he was also a college or pro football player for a while, too. Apparently died of a heart attack... I wonder if 'roids had anything to do with it. I always wonder if in about 5-15 years we're going to have a mass extinction of former WWE wrestlers due to steroid use or something. Remember back in the day when wrestlers were just a bunch of no body tone guys that were just tough? Now 95% of them are pretty boy greek gods built to sell. Can't wait to see if Ted Turner's going to be back in the game with a new federation... but I'm guessing that'll be mostly T&A if it wants to survive, too.
